LazyPay — trapping people and charging exorbitant interest
I got trapped into lazypay and i am really embarrassed about it. I really wonder whether they are legal. I wanted to pay for my hathway connection.in hathway's website, i selected the lazypay mode as it did give an impression of a payment gateway. I didn't realise that it fleeced me into selecting the pay later mode. The modus operandi is very simple. Entrap the customers somehow and then charge them with exorbitant interest and then threaten them with legal action. They charged me 25% interest for 25 days! Even the hathway people told me not to use lazypay. Looks like an urban version of the blood sucking money lenders. Was this information helpful?
