[Resolved]  Lenskart — complaint against lenskart for failure to replace the defective specs

I purchased 2 spectacles from lenskart franchise, central market, ashok vihar, delhi in december 2016 which had broken down due to manufacturing defect. Both the broken specs were given to the lenskart franchise, ashok vihar for repair but the franchise informed that it cannot be repaired because of manufacturing defect and the company has given approval for its replacement. I was assured that the new specs would be delivered within 7-8 days. However the same have not been delivered since last about 20 days. On inquiry franchise informed that due to a dispute with company is closing down his shop and asked us to directly contact the costumer care number of lenskart. I accordingly contacted costumer care number [protected] of lenskart. I was informed that there was approval from the company for the replacement of specs and asked us to choose the new frames for specs and sent an executive at my place on 04 september, 2017 for selection of frames of equivalent price. The frames were selected from the choices offered but the executive informed that without store credit, he was unable to book the order for replacement of specs. I again contacted the costumer care executive of lenskart on 04/09/17. Even though it was reiterated that there was approval from the company for the replacement of specs, the order for the replacement of specs was not booked. The costumer service executive was rude, unhelpful and non cooperative. No. Of calls were made to the costumer care executives. Everytime the call was attended by a different costumer care executive namely manish, naina, rohit, lakshay. Ultimately i was told that i would get a call from lenskart within 24 hours and the booking order would be confirmed. It is regretted that no call has been received from lensekart till now and when i tried to contact lenskart on costumer care no., it was not attended. I am in teaching profession and my daughter is a student. Since last 20 days we are finding it very difficult to manage the reading work and studies. Without specs we are feeling strain in our eyes in our day to day working. We are not getting any cooperation either from the lenskart franchise central market, ashok vihar or from the company itself. You are requested to take immediate appropriate action against the company and awar exemplary damages for the inconvenience caused to us. Thankyou!

I have ordered for Vincent Chase ECO VC 2131 Matte Black. On April 14th I received the same at Guwahati. Now the frame got broken. It's been only 5 months I am using this. It shows the frame is of poor quality. I want to know the replacement policy for this item.
