Lenskart — Defective eyewear, delayed delivery and poor grievance handling - Order [protected]

I am CA Navdeep Saraogi from Ahmedabad. I am filing this public complaint regarding my Lenskart order number [protected].

I ordered three eyewear products after updating my prescription: single vision glasses, tinted single vision glasses, and progressive glasses. I had clearly informed the Lenskart store that I was leaving for a 15-day family trip beginning on 24 April 2026 and needed usable eyewear before travel.

All three products had separate issues. The single vision glasses were delivered with incorrect axis/power configuration, which store staff later admitted and replaced after inconvenience. The tinted glasses were promised before travel but reportedly arrived only after I had already left Ahmedabad, defeating the purpose of the purchase. The progressive glasses arrived before travel but had a clear defect: one side of the temple/handle was wobbling while the other side remained stable. The product was returned immediately through Lenskart/store staff.

The most concerning part is the inconsistent explanation. The progressive frame was initially treated as defective, but later the wobbling was described as a design feature/minor flexibility, even though only one side was wobbling. I also experienced poor grievance handling, repeated follow-ups, loss of complaint continuity, and dismissive customer service communication.

Lenskart offered refund/replacement options and a voucher, but this does not address the full issue: wrong specification delivery, delayed delivery despite known urgency, defective goods, contradictory explanations, failed escalation, repeated time loss, and inconvenience during planned family travel.

I request Lenskart to provide a written acknowledgment of the failures, a fair final resolution, meaningful compensation for inconvenience and time wasted, and confirmation that this complaint will not be marked as resolved while I dispute the resolution. NCH docket number: 9342216.
