I bought an Air conditioner of LG and asked to call up toll free for demo & installation. When I did call up, i was told that I need to pay Rs. 499 towards installation and I had agreed for that too.
the gentlemen who came for installation asked me to pay for some clamp for Rs.750 which was not of LG product and I was not informed about the same before. Is it a mandatory? if it so why was I not informed in advance?

Customer care executive Antony and Floor supervisor Kalaiselvi insisted me to buy the same. Are they supposed to promote others products?If the accessory was mandatory why was that not provided with the unit itself. When I asked about it, I was told that the same can be installed without that also but they wanted me to give in writing that they will not be responsible for faulty installation. service agency AK Engineering Chennai.
