1) dishwasher was purchased on 2nd march 2014.
2) 1st issue was reported on jul 2017.
3) service team visited the site, took the dishwasher to service center and mentioned rat biting as the cause for which wire welding was done.
4) dishwasher was brought back to home and instead of a dry run infront of my family, they shifted the dishwasher from groundfloor to 1st floor and asked to make arrangements for water and electric connection and then call them back for a test.
5) after electric and plumber work was done, the lg team was called for a dry run. The machine did not work and they mentioned minor welding problem
After 3- 4 time visits they took the machine to workshop and mentioned rat bite as the reason. The machine till today is in lg workshop.
6) upon enquiring about the request status they mentioned that a part is ordered and so far they have not received the right part from lg team.
7) upon enquiring with lg noida team, i was told that the part is not manufactured anymore and they are trying to get it from another faulty lg machine which is not working currently. I denied for such arrangements and then i was offered for product replacement.
8) the billing details was shared with lg odisha area manager over whatspp and he asked for 10 days time to give the offer details.
9) after 2 weeks when i contacted hin, he mentioned that the offer cannot be given and it has to be repaired.
My concerns :-
1) lg team never bothered to give me a call back and update on the request status.
2) very rude behaviour by entire lg team, specially service center lead and area sales manager in odisha
3) when i was informed that the part is not manufactured anymore by lg, how come overnight lg manufactured it now. How i as a customer would validate this.
4) why the offer was not given after i submitted all invoicing details to area sales manager.
5) i have repeatedly asked for the repair cost, instead had to pay a bill amount without lg team taking my agreement for the cost to be borne. This happened during 1st repair and the current case no update has been given yet, althought i have been regularly following up.
6) if there is a design flaw in the dishwasher why a new model can't be procured and exchange offer given. I don't find rat biting any other lg products in my house like washing machine, refrigerator, tv. Mobile etc.
7) once machine is taken to workshop different reasons are given, why should a new product that is hardly used for 3 yrs would have so much faults.
Never go for lg dishwasher in odisha. Their team have zero technical knowledge on the product and will loot the customer with big repair amount as servicing cost and at the end the product never works. They keep customers in dark, sometimes stating lg stopped manufacturing the parts and then overnight you find the part is available. Lg takes no ownership of complaints. Consumer has to do multiple calls with lg teams starting from local lg technicians, lg service center lead, area sales team, noida team and mumbai team and status remains same after months of follow-up. Definitely for me from now onwards any lg product is a big no, waste of money and time.
