[Resolved] LG Electronics — LG TV issue - Seeking support regarding Service Request No RNP[protected] | |||
I have raised a complaint with LG and following up with their customer center and writing emails. But till now no one contacted me and provided any update on resolving my issue . Here is the text from the email that I wrote. I purchased multiple products i.e. TV, Refrigerator and AC’s during this period. I am writing this note to express my frustrations and disappointment with a recent experience I had with your service team. 4 years back on 12/Oct/2012, I bought a LED 42 inch TV [Model – 42LS5700, SNO - 207PLTV105961]. I made this purchase at Chennai Trade Center, Chennai. [Not able to trace the invoice at present]. During early December, 2016 I started getting problem with my TV set. I was losing the TV picture after 30 to 60 minutes. The sound is alright but the screen is pitch black. I raised a service request [RNP[protected]] on 6/Dec/2016. Your Service engineer came saw the TV and said everything is fine and closed the SR. I again raised another SR [RNP[protected]] on 9/Dec/2016. Service engineer came again informed LED bulb is the problem and left. I informed I am willing to pay for the repair. From then onwards I made multiple calls and SMS to the Team Lead (XXX ******1228] and Regional Area Service Manager [XXXX ****** 061] to get the help. Finally on 7/Jan/2017, I was informed by XXXX that the part is not available for this model and can’t be repaired. I was advised to send this email for any further help. I am greatly disappointed with the experience I had this time and want to bring these 2 concerns to your notice and seek your help to make my “Life Good” again. Please contact me at the address provided below or on my mobile [protected]. 1. Your service team is saying TV can’t be repaired as the spare parts are not available. I am really surprised to hear this. Want to know what shall I do with my 4 years old TV. 2. I had to make multiple follow up calls to your team to get the attention. It took nearly 30 days to provide a solution. I personally am frustrated by the bad response of your service team including your managerial staff. Leave it to your judgment to take corrective action. DONT BELIEVE LG... IT IS CHEAPER USE AND THROW PRODUCT. We too are facing in 3 Months old LED TV. Panel got failed within 3 months from the date of purchase. LG is speaking terms and conditions instead of providing replacement.
