[Resolved] LG Electronics — pathetic experience with lg electronics (smart tv) 43lj554t-ta | |||
• this is with reference to our lg smart tv (42”) bought from amazon on 15th may 2019 by my brother in law aman arora via amazon order no[protected]; invoice no – sblb-22867, vendor stellar media/cloudtail india pvt ltd and delivered at our resident in bangalore at prestige tranquility. When the lg person came for installation, he found the damaged tv while unpacking the same. We highlighted the issue and after some days it was being taken and replaced by another smart tv. • the new tv lg 108 cm (43 inches) full hd led smart tv 43lj554t (Black) | b073s5319t (073s5319t) hsn:8528, came in june 2019 and within 5-6 months, it had a small spot at the tv screen. First, we called lg customer care and were being told to write back or talk to amazon to get it replaced. Had written complaint to amazon and were told to get in touch with lg electronics. • i had again approached lg electronics on 14th of january and requested to visit on urgent basis under complaint number rnp[protected], as the small spot was keep spreading. Had my first call with engineer who told me that he can not come on the same day and next day its holiday and will see if he can send somebody. • called customer care again on 17ths morning when nobody turned and that is how one engineer visited my place and said that there is some physical damaged and this can not to be done guarantee & warranty. I had some argument when he asked me to pay visiting charges without giving me any formal report. • i requested him to take his manager in the conference call and was really sad to see “unexpected unprofessional behavior of his manager” over the call he was literally shouting. Am sure you people have recorded line and can hear the conversation. When i said please send me an email stating that you can not do anything, and this is physical damaged. I have till date not received any mail communication from him or his manager stating that it is a physical damage so that same can be shared with senior leadership and social media. To the extent, he put a false comment of tv being tempered. Almost 1 month followed up 2 times but of no use and linings have increased and spread over the entire tv. • really unprofessional and pathetic experience to the extent i was being that rude manager even if i raised it to any level it will come to him finally and he is not going to do anything and banged the phone. • why my tv display was not done under guarantee or warrantee when its hardly 6 months and still can be done under guaranty Appreciate if you can get it done under guaranty/warranty before this gets escalated at higher level.
