In Oct’19 I had purchased LG 43” Jazz LED TV and exact after 2 yrs. in Nov’21 it’s display stop working. I had raised issue on very same day(complaint no-RNP[protected].
Their engineer visited my place and just see it from outside he said that it’s LED got damaged which needs to be replaced. I asked him about the reason of this damage but he doesn’t have any answer. He only said that just like LED bulbs TV LED also have max to max 3-4 yr of life but your LED got damaged earlier which means this issue will re-raised after every 2-3 years.
After this I asked the cost of that part then he said it’s around 6k but I will see and try to reduced at my level.
After all these things I had raised complaint and reported the same issue on LG website where I get complaint no-VCP[protected]. But no solution provided.
Then I have to raise the issue(service request no-GCP[protected] at LG MD desk where I got a mail confirmation that my problem will be resolved very soon and your area service manager will contact me but till now nobody call me.
After 1-2 days later I only got a call from LG engineer who earlier visited my place and he said “Sir your part is reached to us can I come to change it”, his supervisor was also on line then I informed him that I had already raised an issue with your higher authorities and I want to get the unit replaced or change the part without any cost as I am fed up with your services. Then he said no sir you have to pay the charges I said what are the charges then today he said price is around 3-3.5k. His supervisor also said price are changes he might be not aware.
Now question is that LG is a big brand but there staffs are not even aware about the costing of service, there was a huge difference between 1st and 2nd quotation.
Now I need a simple request that my unit will be replaced as I am fed up with the services and performance of LG. This type of services are waisting time of people and also giving a mental trauma after purchasing these high value products. Was this information helpful? |
