We have Desalination plant installed in Port Blair, Andaman & Nicobar Islands,
for the plant we had purchased LG 1.5 ton split AC on 1.5.2011, model no LSAFR2 /
1.5 Ton
On 21.2.2014 found AC cooling was not proper, and we approached your authorized
service center named Universal Care, based at Port Blair, on contacted, Engineer
visited the site for E&R, after checking full unit he said, outdoor unit condenser
tube was damaged and leading to gas leakage.
As per their recommendation out door unit condenser tube was completely replaced
which costs Rs 5500.00 vide bill no 17051 dated 4.3.2014
Again on 03.09.2014 found AC not giving satisfactory performance and indoor unit
showing fault ‘HI’ in display, same was reported to Service Center, engineer
visited the site, checked and suspect out door unit having less gas and same need
to take shop floor for further inspection.
After thorough inspection at their shop floor on 10.09.2014 they given the
feedback that the condenser tube was damaged and need replacement.
When we asked your service center for warranty replacement as the part was failed
within a period of six months, they said we always using original spares parts
which is procured from OEM (LG ) and there is no warranty for spares which was
supplied, they cant able to convince us, if we are replacing the condenser how
long it will work.
At this level we/our company can’t effort for such expense in defect rectification
like this in frequent intervals.
And also we never expect such poor quality of materials from your good
organisation.
