Since the purchase of LG Reg-GC B257U GLW (S.No. 205TRLV1N200) on 8th July 2022 vide invoice no. LGLD/22-23/69, we were continuously facing troubles regarding refrigerator's body getting heated and subsequently when I made a complaint, the fellow told me that this is a smart fridge and you will feel outer body heated up. In June 2023, the fridge got stopped working automatically and when we called the person who came to install the fridge, he send the mechanic. The mechanic came and told us the fan is damaged and need replacement. He replaced the same but charged us near about Rs. 2500/-. No receipt was provided to us that time as they told it was in warranty and the fan got damaged because of customer's fault.
In few days the functioning got hampered again and after raising the complaint for the same, the mechanic came to check but his behavior was not customer friendly and annoying. He bluntly told that I have repaired it and its a technical know-how and I don't need to explain you. The attitude, behavior and the way Mr. Devendra, mechanic (contact no. +91-[protected]) was highly disgraceful. Thereafter again my fridge got shut down, and when I called him he replied, "I will be visiting soon but he didn't came for next 2 hours." I again called him, he replied, "I am coming." After 3 hours, on his visit, he disgracefully replied, "Do not ring me again and again, as I have many complains and will visit according to my convenience." He charged Rs. 1280/-, whereas the receipt no. W55697/02316 dated 19th October 2023 was of Rs. 1180/- only. Fridge will cool after 3 hours. But on the same day after his departure, the fridge was still unfunctional for more than 4 hours and when we called him up, he told that it's the problem with MCB and power supply and not of fridge. But I called upon another mechanic (not from LG), he repaired and rectify the fault of the fridge and since 20th October 2023, it is working fine of which the new mechanic charged Rs. 5500/-
What is the significance of purchasing a brand product of LG, when the services are not up to the mark and the behavior of service engineer is totally rubbish. I urge that LG should look into this matter on priority and provide me the solution as this product was faulty since its purchase. Else I will be forced to reach consumer court in this matter.
