[Resolved] LG Electronics — Unethical behavior and charges | |||
I had an issue with my LG TV and called LG customer care to arrange for a technician. The response was swift and the technician visited my home on the very same day only to tell me that there is an issue with the TV and that I would need to pay Rs 7, 000 to get that fixed if the problem is with the circuit and that it would be Rs 15, 000 if the LED panel needs to be changed. The issue is that i was not told about the exact nature of the problem but the technician was prompt in charging me Rs 748.5 as service charge with out even making an attempt to find the problem. A sincere advice to all you folks out there. Do not contact the LG Customer support for any technician as they seem to be interested in just charging you for nothing. It was a very unpleasant experience and I decided not to get the TV repaired by these folks. Eventually a local repair person fixed it for less than Rs 4, 000 after telling me the issue and taking my explicit approval to go ahead with the repair Was this information helpful? | |||
