I have purchased one Split AC(1.5 T) on dated 6 may 2018 and it has been told that there are three free services will be provide by LG .In sept 2018 first service was done vide request no RNP[protected] after which AC was start making sound while moving the flap swing, which was discussed on the same day with the engineer came for the servicing and he stated that this is normal after the servicing and after a week winter started and we were stop using the AC and we found that swing Flap of AC is not working so on 19 Jan 2019 we have loged request no RNP[protected] for second servicing and non functioning of Swing Flap and they assure that the issue will be resolve in three days but the engineer has visited on 19 jan 19 and told that he will be coming in evening and do the servicing but he neither visited nor receiving the phone calls.Then on same day evening again I have called customer care and discuss whole issue with them so they had given Nancy Gupta (Customer Service Officer) contact number, we had called her repeated times but she never responded to our calls.After one week ie 21.01.2019 when i called customer care then I came to know that service requestno RNP[protected] is already closed with remarks service done and issue resolved.Customer Executive Mr ashish has instructed us to lodge fresh request for the previous problem.
My concern is that because of the Brand name LG we purchased this AC and how come within 7 months swing flap is not working and we are not receiving satisfactory results from customer care.
The Consumer Rights Act makes it an implied term of the contract that goods I purchased must be of statisfactory quality and proper servicing should be provided to the customer within stipulated timeline.This sort of behaviour is completely unacceptable so I demand you to either resolve the issue immediately or refund my money.If you do not do so i shall take this matter to customer council.
