[Resolved]  Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) — Lic Fake Calls

Its been over a month I have been receiving fake calls claiming from people that they are a part of the lic jeevan anand policy and from AID Government department. They mentioned that my policy of Rs 1, 58, 970 had matured and they need to transfer the funds. I was surprised because I didn't remember any such policy taken on my name, I was not sure if my parents had taken a policy for me. The main suspicious thing was that the number that I received the call from [protected] (once buy a very rude guy Rahul Chaudhary named and the second time Kishor Kumar) was listed as a spam number on true caller details and my doubt increased when the guy asked me for my policy details, nominee details, dob and so on. I did not give him any details as I was not sure about the calls and had no details of this policy. To confirm these calls I actually called the LIC helpline no and they confirmed me that It was a fake call as the LIC department does not call anyone and they directly send letters on the mailing address. Also the amount is directly transferred to your bank account after policy maturity after your legally sign the documents. Please can you take a strict action against these companies for the fraudlent activities as there are many innocent people who could fall prey to these FAKE calls.
