[Resolved] Lifecell International — Sample was collected after 45 minutes of delivery | |||
Hi, We just wanted to bring to your notice that on the day of my Delivery, 10th June the cord blood sample was collected after 45 minutes of delivery at Aditya Birla Hospital, Pune due to sheer negligence of Lifecell paramedic team. We have been trying to reach Avinash, the paramedic who was supposed to be in hospital for sample collection since 7 pm in the evening before getting hospitalised, but there was no response. then we tried reaching Harsha, the alternate number provided to us and she in turn gave another number to be contacted, Ravi. Ravi said he would be there, once we reach hospital. But even after repeated calls made to Ravi and Harsha after reaching hospital from 10.30 PM onwards there was no response from them and no one picked the call till the delivery was done at 1.45 AM. My doctor said, there was no point collecting the sample even after 10 minutes of delivery. Finally Harsha picked up the call after the delivery was done and reached hospital to collect the sample after 45 minutes of delivery. We have few concerns we need an answer to- - Is this the service level that Lifecell provides to your clients? You cannot have your client calling and coordinating N number of people at the critical time of delivery, when you are already focused on something else. - Who from your team takes the ownership of the mistake and negligence that was committed that day? - What gurantee/assurance do you give that the sample collected after 1 hour of delivery was still good? - We regret to tell that we need our money back for the initial payment that we made after experiencing the negligence done on the part of lifecell, as your sales person herself told that the sample should be collected immediately after delivery and its very critical. We would like you to take some stringent action against what has happened on 10th June for the people involved and also we would never recommend anyone else seeing the service level we experienced that day.
