Livspace — Cancellation and Refund Issue

We have booked a package with Livspace and paid 30k on 7th august in hope that we would be getting the best quality of home decor with tension free experience. From the day of booking till now we are just chasing with designers for the options that we can have and getting nothing but mental torture and compromises.

We were provided low quality wood (MDF) other options were not even mentioned and also were not provided any info around interior wood color. Also we faced a lot of delay in response and we had to follow a lot to get answers to our query and also getting booking dates for meetings. The price initially quoted and the price sheet provided now have significant increase which is against the Livspace policy where you clearly mention no hidden cost and other stuff.

The major blunder we faced was that the direction of our house was taken by a representative from your end by visiting our flat and taking direction with all measurements. The direction which was provided was totally different than the actual one. We initially thought it was right but once we visited and talked with folks living around the flat and the builder representative we got to know how wrong the directions were. We raised this concern in order to get the correct direction but still we have not got it done. They are not admitting their mistake and on top of that Ms Payal Khetan is saying that if a client knows the direction why waste time in direction again. They know it na. And a lot of our time gets wasted in discussing temple creation in the wrong direction which is suggested by your designer. Discussions were fruitless as the direction is incorrect. The material we finalized in one meeting, in another meeting we go to know that is not available and you have to choose an alternative. This means if we haven't raised the concern we would have done all the placements of furniture and puja mandir wrongly. It seems they are not bothered about whether the client is getting correct info or not.

Designer does not tell us anything about material quality, the color options and any other details. When we got to know from outside sources the other options, he told us that I am not a salesman. One example -I said that in the first meeting itself, we don't want white color inside wardrobes or any other furniture and we are very particular about that, he said that this is the only option we have.
But when we visited the Experience centre in Gurgaon and saw the colors inside the wardrobe and showed him that please have a "Hey, please have a look & this is not white. " He said, yes ye color bhi ho jayega."
Then that meeting was over. He told us that he will send us estimates today.
But no updates in a week even.
We called again to book the next visit after multiple follow ups to schedule that since it was getting too much delayed, he told us that color is not available. Why a lot of delay in providing information and ruining customers' new home experience.

We have raised concern with customer support of livsapce but haven't got any response even after a week.

Moving to a new home is a dream for everyone and Livspace has ruined it completely.

The only thing we are asking now is to provide us a refund asap so that we can still think of having a better beginning in our new home.
