I hired livspace for my end to end interiors of my new flat, for which my budget given was 10-12lacs. But as i onboarded with 25K advance payment, the budget kept exceeding. All the modular scope was way higher than other competition products. Also 100% payment they forced to make without even seeing the products once.
There was no transparency in terms of designer i.e the designer was a consultant and livspace had no control over her, and she kept raising the actual quote way higher than her original budget as she kept her commission on the actuals. This was all kept under dark.
the timelines were never met. all false promises and wrong timelines given.
No one from the company was assigned to supervise the project. No follow ups on their own. I had to travel to the site every day to follow up on work completition as i had a strict timeline due to my pregnancy and i needed my flat to be delivered before my due date.
even after 100% full advance payment on modular, the materials when reached was damaged and there is still no clarity when the the same will be corrected and fitted.

We have started the project with livspace for getting our home interior done. But our initial quotations was approx 6 lakh which was under our budget that is when we agreed to go with livspace.. but within 1 months with 3 d design the started adding addition cost on everything which was already discussed and reached till 8 lakh costing and still project was not finalized or started. And then they were delaying the project with all stupid reason as weekend or holiday or non availability of someone or materials. Please we need the our advance back because this is not something which we agreed upon. Budget was constrain and additional cost was never informed before the booking.

The first briefing about Interior works on 7th Nov 2020 at the Livspace Kochi office. I was in fact drawn by the ambience and pleasing promises of the team. I did get quotes from other interior teams. However considering the proximity, alluring promises and attractive claims in advertisements, I chose Livspace. One major reason was that I wanted to entrust the work with a professional team since I will not be around during the work and I did not want my 62+ year old mother to be in trouble. After the initial conversations I was convinced that there is no need of our frequent interventions at the site. And their site clearly stated that the entire work would be done 100% by in house team, and NO external vendors. Another major promise from the team was that once I make the entire payment, Assembling will only take 7-10 days at the maximum. Hence I planned for my housewarming by March end.

I had booked the team by giving an advance of Rs.20, 000 on November 14, 2020. Then second payment of Rs. 188, 104 was made on Jan 25, 2021. I was told that entire payment has to be made before procuring materials. I had raised my concern about making entire payment before completion of work. Due to delay from HDFC loan processing, my final payment got delayed by 2 days and my designer from Livspace called me to say that upon further delay in final instalment payment, they will charge me rent for storing my manufactured materials. I got panicked as I was already running tight on the financial front and pushed the procedure from the bank side to speed up fund availability. The same team who was about to charge me for storage for 2 days, has been using my flat rooms as their storerooms dumping all work materials and unfinished, unclean wardrobes. We could not occupy the rooms even after we moved into the flat due to the delay from Livspace team.

Once the assembling started, I started getting back to back complaints from neighbourhood flats and Confident office. The workers were so careless and unclean. I travelled to Cochin to pay a visit at the site while work was on and I was shocked to see how badly the site was managed. Hard wastes were piled up everywhere without any kind of floor and wall protection measures taken. Almost all wall edges were broken, my balcony glass door damaged with irreversible scratches, days old food waste was dumped in the balcony. Please find the photos attached herewith.

We insisted on cleaning the site regularly and following hygiene. While the painting and false ceiling work was on, there was cement and white powder wastes everywhere. In my absence at the site, the apartment cleaning staff and neighbours asked the workers to close the doors and carry out the work to avoid dust and powder waste in common area. However, by evening 7.30 pm, I got a call on my phone from Confident group office, complaining about the site issues. Due to the careless handling of workers, whole corridor of the floor and subsequent stairs of 2 floors were full of dust and dirt piled up. My neighbour who has dust allergy issue, raised complaint and I was held responsible being the flat owner. At that late night, my mother had to arrange a cleaning boy from outside, they visited the flat by 9 p m and did the cleaning. It not only incurred cost; the inconvenience caused was much. Later the team started coming up with extra costs other than projected in initial quote. They said false ceiling should be done to facilitate TV positioning – which was not in the initial plan. When I had clearly communicated the expectations and when the team did site validation as well, I am not sure why they could not project such requirements in advance. This resulted in extra costs. Also, the team broken the granite slabs and kitchen tiles that was already there. After me raising multiple complaints, they replaced a few broken tiles – but not the entire broken tiles. They made me get new granite slabs – again shooting up the costs. The team claimed that they couldn’t carry out the work without breaking tiles. This should have been projected at the beginning when they gave the quote and plan. In the entire apartment, interiors works are done by other teams in many flats and nowhere the teams broke the tiles and granites like this. The team was not at all professional.

The wardrobes fixed were too bulky for the rooms of my flat. Livspace claims in their advertisements about space planning made in compact rooms. However, my rooms were made much congested and utility was nowhere factored. Local carpenters would have done better measurements and planning. The team levied designer charges on their plan, but I wonder what kind of design input was there. I have attached the Confident Leo III flat plan given by builder herewith. The same plan was replicated with no extra input, but wrong measures. I could not even fit standard double size bed cots in the rooms because of the bulky wardrobes. When questioned, they said wardrobes come in standard size. It that was the case, why is the team doing site validation and claiming on customisation? None of the wardrobe or TV unit was complete on time. I got tired writing long emails for completion and rectifications. The work table was particularly asked to be made detachable so that I can move it around if needed. The table they fixed is not detachable and they have fixed it to the wall after removing the wall-tile skirting. The wait has been very long.

The workers were all third-party vendors. If you see the Livspace claims, they say that all workers are in-house. Their advertisements are misleading and deceiving. Random workers visited the site on random days and timings with no site supervisor to give instructions. They were all confused and would work 2-3 hours and leave site unclean. We had to clean it every time they messed the site. The Cement and paint wastes were such a pain. I repeated insisted to have a supervisor at site, but the team kept changing accountable people. I was given contacts of multiple people and no one seemed to have an idea about the work. I was disturbed between my work almost everyday in calls, discussions and emails. I insisted on either completing the work as promised or in case the team is incompetent, I wanted them to clear off the site and refund me the amount paid. I had to do my housewarming pooja amidst the incomplete work as there was no sign of completion or commitment to promise. I could not conduct my housewarming function, could not invite guests. Me and my 62+ year old mother had to start living in the work site with cement wastes. For the work they said they would complete in 10 days, its been 7 months. My rooms were made as their storerooms all this while. The damages the team caused in my flat are not yet fixed. And final handing over is not done as on date.

The huge costs, the efforts, headaches, pain and tension are too much to bear further. A flat is my lifetime dream and they have literally spoiled it all. I belong to a normal middle-class family and I am the single earning member. Please help me address this issue and facilitate compensation from Livspace for all the delays, damages, fake promises and untrue advertisements.

I booked livspace for my newly bought home in august 2020 and it is still yet to complete. They ask 3 months for the work but it never happened. They ask for the money first and then take us for granted. I have escalated this many times with livspace but they dont even acknowledge early and even if they did they do not correct what was went wrong. I missed my many family functions because of these delays and could not let any guests come home with the incomplete work done by them. The waste material is still at my place as i could not figure-out what is waste and what will be needed for the remaining work. I informed Livspace about my travel to hometown before a month and they should complete the work before i leave. I even told them that it is because of your delayed work i will have to come back to Pune and they should cover my to and fro charges and i wanted to live with my family in my hometown but then unfortunately maharashtra was under lockdown and my father in law was hospitalized and then I became covid positive and hospitalized for 9 days and was recovering from it. They asked me when I will come so that the pending work can be completed. So as they asked I told them i will come a week later. but reached one more week late. and before leaving confirmed with them that the material is complete and work can be done. As i reached pune they completed a little work and sent email that remaining work will need 10 more days for material delivery and installation.

This livspace has brought mental stress and a lot of frustation for a year since the first payment was done, n number of escalations and and delays on delays.

I would request refund rather than repair.

While Livspace took the entire order in December 2020, they have failed to give the goods & services as per quality promised.
They are not paying attention to any number of complaints that I have made to their Founder - ANUJ SRIVASTAVA
My all money is stuck with them which they are not even refunding back.

Half of the products are not even in "ORDER" stage.

I have written numerous complaints to their Founder and team, and I have all email communication recorded.

An organisation full of cheaters and dicey ppl with limited experience misleading customers and draining their money. Big talks and zero work promises with young unemployed inexperienced youth to talk and lure customers showing fake images and designs for which thay hardly have any experience. Jaipur experience Center is one such lot.

The Modular kitchen company Livspace has been harrassing us on a daily basis and delaying our order due to their problems. Initially they misguided us by making false promises (we have proofs of that) regarding the delivery and after the various payment milestones, they're delaying it and now we have a small 11 months baby and are suffering coz of these guys.
Also in between they committed to the date of 30th April for delivery and now they're delaying it by a month.
We cant to cancel out order now considering the harrassment and also claim the refund of the amount paid till date (50% payment is made already) and also would like to file a case against mental harrassment and other losses.

Livspace has many managers dfrom Operations Manager to Business manager to Project manager. But truthfully all these are just have titles and spending time in office doing nothing.
First of all they take 100% payment from the customer and doesnt deliver anything except talking this and that will be done.
Second, no proper co-ordination with all teams and just plays the blame game.
Third, Customer /Clients need to keep calling them to know statuses and updates on the project and to get things done.
Fourth, No one will answer tha phone or reply to messages or emails.

So my suggestion to everyone would be. Never go to livpsace for your home interior work.

I signed up with Livspace for your home interiors on 11th january, 2020 with Rs 1, 50, 000 as 10% booking amount for a project scope of full home design.
I recieved 3 or 4 options when we started designing and the work was happening in slow pace.Due to which i halted the project for a while.Then the plan changed a bit and my property was being reconstructed.Due to covid everything was delayed.And now the Business manager from Livspace is asking me to choose between 3 options-
1) To compelete my design by 15 of March because he wants his financial year to end amazingly and his books to reflect the same.THIS WILL GIVE ME ABOUT 10 DAYS COUNTING TODAY TO FINALIZE THE DESIGN FOR MY KITCHEN.EVEN IF THEY HAD TO MAKE THIS DECISION THEY COULD HAVE GIVEN ME MORE TIME AS I MIGHT HAVE PRIOR COMMITMENTS.BUT NOOO...I THINK ONLY THE PEOPLE WORKING IN LIVSPACE HAVE WORK TO DO.SECOND OPTION
2)I PAY 25000 FOR THIS FINANCIAL YEAR AS DESIGN FEES.(NO DESIGNING HAS BEEN DONE...the mails are still in my inbox..in fact the account in livspace does not have even the plan uploaded for which i paid extra ...AGAIN BECAUSE HIS FINANCIAL BOOKS SHOULD REFLECT AMAZINGLY...Again after this 25000 rupees is paid...they will not provide me discount about which we talked about...I think this would have been fair if they dont give discount to any new person joining livspace today.I am sure that's not the case..now the third option
3) donate 150000 out of goodwill to them...as refunds are not provided in livspace...
DUE TO COVID EVERYONE HAVE SUFFERED ENOUGH AND EVERYBODY KNOWS..EVERY ARCHITECT EVERY INTERIOR DESIGNER THAT THE PROJECTS HAVE BEEN DELAYED.
IT'S INSANE HOW THIS ORGANIZATION IS ACTING.OPTION 2 AND 3 WILL BE LITERALLY WASTING MY HARD EARNED MONEY AND HENCE NOT VIABLE. THE LEAST THEY COULD HAVE DONE IS AT LEAST GIVE ME TIME BUT THEY HAVE A DEADLINE FOR THAT AS WELL.
I DON'T BELIEVE HOW JUST TO SHOW GOOD FINANCIAL BOOKS THIS ORGANIZATION IS READY TO COMPROMISE WITH ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING EVEN MORALS FOR THAT MATTER.
ALSO I THINK 4 MONTHS BACK..I CALLED UP THE STUDIO DIRECTOR RISHABH GANDHI AS I WANTED TO PURCHASE FURNITURE THEN..BUT THE ONLY RESPONSE I RECEIVED WAS OKAY I WILL GET BACK TO YOU...WHICH NEVER HAPPENED...AND NOW THEY ARE SO KEEN ON MAKING A PURCHASE ORDER THAT THEY WANT ME FINALIZE EVERYTHING BY MARCH 15.

I took the service from Livspace Pune - Horrible experience...
No Professional approach, No body bothers about the customers and every time same excuses.
As per design materials are not available, project left in half way.
After 1 year also the work is not completed. unorganized, poor planning from the teams, frequent changes in the team create more issues, they are cheating us, all money took in advance and now we stuck in between.
I required solution for this and completion of the work in professional way.
even i contacted many peoples in livspace but no use, as all are interlinked persons with same mindset.

Once started work it was observed many issues in the materials, this was highlighted to Mr. Anand yesterday only.

Master Bedroom :
1/ Master bedroom walk in wardrobe - Shutter glass found broken - same condition as earlier.
2/ Mater bedroom side table - flanks silver - one sde found 50 mm more size and in another table found 30 mm less in size.
3/ Wardrobe - Lock not fitted
4/ Wardrobe - Handle not fitted ( they don't know which is to fit )
5/ Lauft no handles available.
6/ No Pullers for the side tables.

Balance Glass - kept in the Bed room - if any damage happens after two days i am not responsible - you have to replace all the glasses in that case.

This is not at all acceptable, since a year these types of mistakes happen by livespace and nobody bothers. You all wasted all my money and everyone who is visiting my home are not happy with the work.
You need to visit the site to know the status and how to close the issue ( Refer attached photos ).
I need work to complete by tomorrow evening.

We have appointed Livspace interiors to carryout interior works in our Apartment. The team promised a 60-day delivery but delayed the works for more than 6 months. After completion, we are facing a lot of issues with the works done, because of poor materials used, unfinished works, substandard materials, etc. With regard to this, we have raised several complaints, but none of our issues were addressed and several online complaints raised on their site were still in open status. The team assured they will attend the issue and rectify the problems. But still, none of the warranty documents were handed over to us, our issues were never resolved. After promising standard works and delivery, now seeing the incomplete works we feel cheated and I expect a response and action from the company on the pending issues.

The people promised us many things when getting into an agreement, however, once the advance was given they backed out of everything. They kept lying on each and everything and they had said. Initially they said that they will be giving us the 20% discount 30, 000+15, 000 cash discount and also twelve months 0% emi. When we actually asked all this during the second payment time they backed out of everything and said that whatever we said was a lie. No response from their end and the customer service is also not picking our calls.

Livspace has robbed us of at least 20 lakhs.all designs failed .horrible damaged furniture by the contractor.worst painting ever.have been complaining since last 6 this but no heed .they are only wasting time. Verbally the office accepts all the failures but until today not a single email is replied by them .their designers are a disaster, have no idea about any execution n just run away .nothing of how my living room was planned fell in place and they won’t even refund my money back .they are an absolute bunch people who make fools out of clients .writing even to their highest authorities doesn’t help .

I have hired livspace to do kitchen n wardrobe... Paid 10% advance... At the onset i was assured that i will get to see the samples of veneer to match with my other wood furniture. Its been 3 weeks and they have not been able to arrange samples from their vendors... I m worried as to how they will deal with the other aspects n complete all work in time. They are not replying to msgs on whatsapp group they created

Unfortunately, these marketing propaganda are only to trap new customers. At the time of delivery, shared 3d visuals becomes a history. Installed product will be as livspace want it to be. Customer has no right to talk of 3d at time of delivery. Project plan and mentioned time lines are again for livspace interpretation and customer has no right to refer it to force work completion.

Is livspace a cheat company?

I have booked with Livspace on 3rd August for interiors of kitchen and unfortunately fell in the trap of them .
They extended the timelines and now not refunding the money after 4 months .
I did a Police FIR for the same but they told they will refund over mail but still they are not refunding the amount.
Can you please take strict action against so that I can get the money asap.
They are torturing and giving us mental stress as our hard earned money are with them.

I had contracted Livspace to provide a modular kitchen in April 2019. During September end the Project Manager said site is ready and they will install. While they started installing they found that the plumbing is not at correct place. So the installtion got delayed. At the dat they opened the boxes they found that certain items had not been supplied. After continuous follow ups, project team head placed an order for short supplied items. The items are yet to be delivered and installed even after a time lapse of 40 days. I complained about the delay through Emails but there was no proper response. The management does not respond and even if they respond they dont have any timelines. My kitchen is partially installed and i have been running behind Livspace for the last one month. The management is quite unprofessional, the product quality is not that good. As i have paid the complete amount in advance, I am stuck and they are not even processing compensation for the delay.

Unfortunately, after onboarding a customer, livspace throw all these in dustin. Raised issue in my account open for 19 days. Gm has no concrete update. Leave behind his team members. Shared 3d visuals became a history. Installed product will be as livspace want it to be. Customer has no right to talk of 3d at time of delivery. Project plan and mentioned time lines are again for livspace interpretation and customer has no right to refer it to force work completion.

Livspace took 100 percent payment on 21st august. Sad part is livspace and gm don't have final handover date to share. Hard to understand why it can't deliver catalogue products after taking 100 percent payment.

We signed contract with livspace bangalore to do interior for our 2 bhk. This was basic stuff no fancy work. Work was shoddy, with inexplicable delays and no prior notice due to which we had to extend our stay in rented house while paying emi. Even now after having moved in the work is not completed and there is no commitment to any deadline from livspace. We paid in full (A huge sum for a middle class family like ours) 3 months back believing them to be professional. We are struggling with our decision. They charge more on the basis on project management, processes etc. But they have none in place. Even the customer complaint is useless as no one takes action. I am hoping the consumer forum will help create some awareness and help address such unprofessional service providers please.

Failed to deliver the material on time. We went for the whole house but after getting the amount they kept on delaying the design so that we were restricted to go with hall unit alone. They promised for july 3 but they kept on delaying and we are still yet to receive the unit.

It is totally frustation and they dont respond also.

Worst experience with these guys they dont respond to the email nor the call.

They are least bothered once they get money from us. Initially the designer said it will be delivered in 30 days (Fasttrack) then later they went on to more than 2 months.

A worst of them all...interior company..Livspace..looted me for 6 months...was asked to pay both ways directly and indirectly to save money from their own employees. Told me, not pay entire amount in Livspace account as they are expensive but to pay them directly to do work cheaper...asked me to pay 8 lacs directly and 10 lacs indirectly to them. Cheated me with my money, kept accusing each other and company for delay that was for 6 months and continues….My house in is bad shape and still no response comes from them…till I myself follow up with their labour and staff. The designated supervisor were changed constantly and never visited my house more than twice in last 6 months. The one who started doing some GOOD WORK was terminated because he started advising me right things. Even after paying 18lacs rupees I get the house (pictures attached) half done. I had to shift in the house and from last couple of months we are staying in an unfinished flat which is worst than the builder gave.

I hope LIVSPACE upper management understands that most of their employees are earning money by distracting clients and splitting half of the billing amount. They eat half of Livspace billing under their nose. It is sad because it is not benefiting Livspace as well as client. I am not sure how important is client for them….but they are fools if they don’t get this soon….. the local contractors EARN more money than LIVspace buy their own client and give ### service in the name of Livspace.

I entered contract with livspace for designing my home in April 2018.as they were delaying my project by non visiting and providing 3D renders which are not acceptable for us, we cancelled the contract.Inspite of pusuing many times warning few times earlier also they were very careless in visiting the site and providing the designs as per the contract in time. They wasted almost 9 months before making their first visit to my project site only in January 2019.But livspace is denying our refund by simply blaming us for delay in getting the site ready for starting their work. The designer never visited the site before January 2019 and was giving some designs which were not suitable to the site. I complained many times t o the Livspace customer care to send her for the site visit atleast once, but even they didn't respond promptly nor send their team.So we thought it would be delaying evenmoe if we continue, so took a final call of cancelling the project. Now they are denying my refund. I have now appointed anothr designer from Hyderabad for redesigning my villa and they have already started their work and they took only 15days for every thing to start.

The vendor livspace is making false commitment and delaying the assignment beyond the date of delivery. They are assaulting and forcing us to pay 100% before the completion. Since we have lost trust in there project handling e have requested them to accept copy of dd and let the work be completed with quality to avoid delays but they are forcing us to pay before the delivery is made.

We entered into a contract agreement with livspace bangalore to design and furbish our apartment on 24-nov-2017. The payment amount is 10% of the total project cost. The contract has a clause to terminate with 50% payout from livspace of this advance amount. No work was started, with endless delays from livespace. Finally i cancelled the contract on june 25th. Now livspace is dragging its feet in reimbursing the advanced paid to them.
