Mahanagar Gas — bill charged for thrice the amount of actual consumption, rectified bill not sent even after multiple follow ups.

I am consumer of Mahanagar Gas pipeline service. I have received a bill on 22 June 2018 which shows assessed meter reading as 96 units and total consumption of 49 units in 2 months. This caused the bill to be charged on a higher slab viz., slab 3.

The actual consumption is only 17 units and meter reading as of 23rd June 2018 is 64.787 units. I had raised a request with Mahanagar Gas to provide me with the rectified bill on 23rd June 2018 so that I can pay the correct amount by 10th July 2018 which is the due date. I had also sent them the attached copy of meter reading proof.

However they have still not generated the rectified bill even after following up multiple times with them, there is no response.

The due date is approaching and I cannot pay thrice the amount for the bill.
I have communicated this to them and they are not agreeing to send the rectified bill and are asking me to pay the wrongly charged amount.

Since I have raised request for getting rectified bill well in advance, if they cannot generate the rectified bill, I should not be held responsible for the payment of penalty if the bill is sent post the due date. That responsibility lies with Mahanagar Gas.

The docket number of request raised is 3847652 and I have even escalated the matter to their complaint in-charge Mr. Rishi Kumar, but to no avail.

Please help me in getting the correct bill for the gas consumption before the due date of 10th July 2018.

I paid my bill of JUNE'18 on 2nd July 2018 via Union Bank of India internet banking, the amount of Rs. 254.00 debited in my account, I have not received the acknowledgement for the same. So please sent me the receipt of payment.

I have received Bill is wrongly ganrate in mahanagar gas. By regularly bill avarage Is 750rs but current bill received is higer amount. Manager gas executive not visit to my home on taken bill reading. So please help.
