Mahanagar Telephone Nigam [MTNL] — amount debited from bank but mtnl transaction unsuccessful

I logged in to mtnl website to pay the bill online. My bill date was overdue (Sept 2017). I entered the necessary information and reached my bank site. The amount to be paid to mtnl was debited from my account but it said transaction was unsuccessful.

Please let me know whether your records have been updated that i have paid my bill
