I Sushil Poddar have cancelled MTNL Landline connection on 31st Dec 2020 but haven't received the security deposit of Rs 2000 till date which is 4th August 2021.I was been told that i will get refund in 60 days but haven't got yet which is more than 210 days. I request you to refund my security deposit of Rs.2000. My Telephone No. is 28415114 and I have cleared all due payments while submitting the cancellation request on 31st Dec 2020.

I wont recommend mtnl to anybody..we have mtnl phone and broadband for many years but more than half of the time the internet doesn't come..but yes you will keep paying the bill every month... telephone doesn't work..last month i applied for ftth..thats also not done till date..the service and process is so slow..it end up as a hole in our pockets only with no benefits. Highly disappointed.

My landline phone connection[protected] is not functioning for
last 10 days, I have also registered the complaint through phone, but no response till date. my work is suffering due to non availability of
internet connection.

I have an MTNL telephone and Broadband connection bearing number 26714628 from 2015. The address is noted below

The telephone and broadband were not in working condition for the past 3 months and it can be verified from your records ie incoming/ outgoing calls and internet usage. I have made a complaint through the internet with Docket no 387700 on 01.06.2021 and always showing pending at OD. Also, the site does not allow re-registering compliant again.
Due to non-repair by the MTNL authorities, I have visited MTNL office, Bhikaji Cama Place so many times and registered compliant to the lineman/ Section officers who were sitting in the office and they have registered compliant in their note book. I understood the pandemic situation and I waited to set right the issues on their own. Even after 3 to 4 times visits, nothing has happened from the Section officer level.
I have registered a complaint again to the Divisional Engineer sitting in Bihaji Cama Place (3rd floor) in person and he has asked me to wait for 3 days to set right the issues. Further, he has informed that there is some issue with contract employees for non-renewal of agreement, he has requested further 7 days to repair the phone and broadband issues. After completion of about 15 days, I again met the Divisional Engineer, MTNL office (3rd Floor) and he has again requested to wait for 3 days since the Safdarjung Enclave MTNL line is destroyed due to heavy rain and correction is underway. He has called his subordinates over the phone and directed them to make my broadband in working condition on priority. Even after 1 month, still, the telephone and Broadband are not repaired/ made in working condition and effort made by me to the senior officer is also in vain. I have paid my phone bill dues for May 2021 and June 2021 without using the telephone/ internet. I have to pay for July also in August 2021 without any usage. Though I experienced earlier the service of MTNL is not good, I keep the telephone/ broadband connection since the MTNL is owned by Government. Earlier also similar situation occurs and after 3 months they made in working condition after giving a complaint in writing by email.
It is to inform you that, MTNL must aware that the schools are running through online classes and Government/ Private officers also working from home. It is very pathetic that the MTNL officers do not know the importance of telephone/ Broadband connectivity for the individuals in this pandemic situation.
In view of the above, it is requested to verify my usage in your system and not generate a phone bill for July 2021 onwards. Further, it is requested to intimate by writing in case if the MTNL does not want to provide phone and broadband service to me (phone number:[protected] within a week's time so that I can move to another phone/ internet service provider for my convenience. we have summited our letter for cancelation of above no in the month of Jan-21 & also returened the modem on the same day.
Till no we have visited 7 times til this is no not solved now a day no body is there in your Mulund office Only watchman are telling office closed no body is there.
after submitting the letter still we get ever months Bill.

Unsatisfied with the network and service quality of MTNL, I had discontinued my service on 30/12/2019. It has been more than 1.5 years since the refund of the security deposit has not been initiated. I was told that a cheque will be sent to my registered residential address. I have been constantly trying to enquire about the refund, by there is no co-operation from anywhere. I have visited the Versova Telephone Exchange as well as the office in Lallubhai Park, Andheri West in Mumbai but no help was received.

I request you to look into this matter at the earliest.

The copy of form of surrender duly received by your office is enclosed herewith. It was informed to me at the time of surrender that the security deposit will be refunded in the month of May. Till date despite my email dt.2-6-21& 21-07-21 I have not received any credit /Cheque of refund of security deposit.

Our No. is 27117373, and It was going engaged whenever call to anyone from last many days, on date 24/7/21 when I call complaint no. 1130, 4 times after long waiting its lady employees pick the phone n do disconnects without any talk, and after this 5th time a lady pic the phone and talking very badly. Her way of talking was extreme bad & unacceptable. She thinks she is running this whole country. Gossip is more needy for her then the doing her job, I think she is waste of money for Govt. Thatswhy MTNL Delhi is going in its worst condition. Jai hind

I am not currently using MTNL telephone services since last 8 years and still I haven't received my deposit amount that I had paid while getting new connection. Please inform me the procedure for getting the refund for the deposit and how much time will it take to complete the refund process?

MTNL broadband internet service be given a burial. The ADSL and WiFi lights blinks but the internet light comes on and goes of in matter of seconds. MTNL charges 800 +GST for providing no internet service. After complaint a phone is received asking if internet is working. Than a recorded message is sent on mobile no provided at time of complaint stating that line is repaired and if not satisfied register new complaint. It is better to surrender the connection to have peace of mind.

Landline No. 22011513 is in faulty condition (dead, exchange fault) since last 1month and the complaint no. for same is 129 dated 26.06.2021 which is still open and not resolved from your end. I have mailed it so many times and tried to contact but no response.

Please do the needful to resolve the issue on utmost priority basis.

I lost my mobile this morning 22nd July 2021 Bearing MTNL sim between 11.00am and 3 00 pm near Abhuday Bank Wadala Mumbai
Cannot get through to 1503 or any MTNL number and they have no provision for an online complaint or procedure in this matter.
So lodging complaint here. Need number to be blocked and to be issued a same sim number....

The no has been not working since 3 weeks, all calls unanswered as only IVR. Complaint No./ Escalation is all automated but no monitoring and no action. Ticket seems to get assigned to contractor who are out of service stating their contract has been terminated and hence no support. But what surprises me most is billing is on time, but ticket promised resolution is 15 days wait that is 1/2 month but no reduction service charge nor resolved till date as of Jul'21.

This has been the worst of service. Looks like Officers never share their mails or even look into complaints. Not sure if TRAI needs to be approached for MTNL resolutions to fix the line. Please advise.

I have made an online recharge of Rs. 98 on MTNL mobile no. [protected] on 20/07/2021 and recharge was shown as successful, but the plan was not activated on my phone.

My villa's landline is not working, yet I received bill to pay for this, and I want my line connection to work.

Our line is dead since past 3 months. None of the officers are resolving the problem. Moreover they are sending bill for a dead line month on month. MTNL Mumbai is worst in customer care.
