Dear sir.
Sub: my land line no.27306216 – change of plan to rs.250/- meant for senior citizens and simultaneously dis-connection of broad band on this number
In connection with above, i would like to draw your kind attention as under:
1. I got my broad band disconnected w. E. F. 28.06.2018 vide my request letter dated 28.06.2018 submitted in shakti nagar exchange; which was duly acknowledged. However, the modem and other accessories which i carried with me were not accepted on the pretext that the same should be submitted as and when we call upon you.
2. Simultaneously, i requested for change of landline plan to rs.250/- meant for senior citizens above 65 years of age.in support thereof, i submitted a copy of aadhar card which bear my date of birth as 19.10.1951.
3. I took up the matter with agm sales on phone and i was advised to deposit the modem at shakti nagar exchange.
Accordingly, i deposited the modem alongwith other accessories at shakti nagar exchange on 04.07.2018 vide their receipt no.31 book no.78 alongwith my request letter dated 04.07.2018 which was also acknowledged.
4. I submitted a copy of the receipt of acknowledgement of modem and accessories alongwith my request dated 04.07.2018 in accounts department.
It is surprising that even after a lapse of 45 days, my land line plan has not been changed.
Not only this, i received a bill date 13.8.2018 for rs.884/- which include broad-band charges for full month of july, 2018 whereas i got my broadband disconnected on 28.06.2018.
I am really sorry to note such state of affairs prevailing in mtnl of which you are zonal head.
I request you to get my plan changed to rs.250/- meant for senior citizens and advise the accounts department to rectify the bill dated 13.08.2018 by deleting the broad band charges wrongly charged for the month of july, 2018.
