I live in Mumbai. My landline has been completely dead for the last 6 months. I have complained about it and the docket no. is 3317. No action has been taken in spite of calling your complaint number many times. I keep getting recorded message that my complaint has already been registered. When I complained thrice about inaction, all I got were three call log numbers [protected], [protected] and [protected].
When I escalated the complaint, I got ref. no. 252253.
I tried calling various numbers given on your website but without luck. Surprisingly, your bill doesn't give any number for escalating the complaint nor email address of concerned officer. Hence, I am forced to send you this email on address given on your bill.
My landline was dead for more than a year in 2020-21 also. But MTNL only keeps collecting bill amount and is not bothered about customer complaint nor does it refund the collected amount. As a senior citizen, I am extremely inconvenienced. If you are not looking after such complaints about dead landlines, please forward it to the concerned GM.
