Prepaid mobile (Dolphin) is being charged for "Celebrity wallpaper" service without the consent of consumer. This is like a trap - we get an SMS saying "Dear Customer, your Celeb Wall paper service renewed successfully... will be charged Rs.5 for 5 days..."
It says we need to send an SMS to stop or unsubscribe to 5202000. But you won't be able to unsibscribe and customers are forced to pay Rs.5 for 5 days (Rs. 1 per day) for no reason. There is no service delivered too. Tried complaining all the helplines listed by MTNL for no use. Most of them are automated voice. Wherever manned help is there, no one lifts. It may look very small amount, but think of our population and how these frauds at 5202000 shamelessly looting you. The money we pay is for pre-paid mobile service. MTNL should not allow anyone else to debit this money without customer's consent. This is against customer rights. Requesting MTNL and TRAI to look into this matter seriously - this is happening for years now. (Screen shots attached how the SMS comes and how consumer is helpless while trying to "unsubscribe"
