Mahanagar Telephone Nigam [MTNL] — Zero sevice and maximum harassment | |||
On 22.09.2016 afternoon my telephone land line 2770 7029 was disconnected to outside calls without any notice or messages which also apparently disconnected my Wi Fi which most urgently used. I called 1504 and got the message to contact Area Account Officer.and informed me the line is cut due to non payment.We were out of station and not sure of non payment since no messages or emails were not received.Our payment history reveals the fact that we are prompt customers paying in time. But MTNL was in so hurry and haste to cut my Wi Fi not understanding the difficulties facing due to that.It was appreciable if MTNL give some message for granting even one day so that I could pay through internet. That much service mentality is not shown as if they want to give maximum harassment to waste my time and energy.. Or they can simplify my hardships by giving the contact number of person for ressolving the problem( I mean Area Account Offficer). Instead of that like ritual with zero service i have no other clues whom to call. . I have no other alternative but called Public grievances no 27881881 The person responded very patiently, by taking too much time gave 3 numbers to contact 10.30am to 5.30 pm .during duty hours.such as 2771 4787, 2770 2286 &, 2767 2286. Since I was very impatient and in urgent need I called the numbers at 10.30 amitself on 23.09.16.To my surprise the so called Public Grievances is giving me the no. which responded not existed for 2767 2286. The other 2 numbers were not picking up. by which I assume the staff of MTNL might not have arrived in time. Finally I visited Nerul Area Office and the Area Accounts Officer was very cordial l and resolved the problem .But i wasted my full day time and energy and had incontinence of not getting Wi Fi due to Zero Se vice and maximum harassment policy which could have been settled had there been a little service mentality and sense from their end???
