My xuv500 with above regn no was giving trouble free service till yesterday. I was regularly getting all paid services done through sri durga autromobiles till 40000kms. Yesterday, to do the paid service at 50000km, i booked for service at indraprasthaautomobiles, wazirpur, being closer to my residence. I drove down to deliver the vehicle at 10am yesterday with a single complaint of bee-buzzing sound of the steering wheel when fully turned on to either side, while reversing or moving forward. After checking the vehicle and test drives, a copy of the manual order form was given to me to approve approx rs13, 000/- plus gst with a assurance to keep it ready by 5pm.
At 17.15, i received this message:-
Dear customer, your vehicle dl10ct0986, repair order number ro20h012783, final bill amount is rs.14569.25 including tax and is ready for delivery. Thanks - indraprastha automobiles pvt ltd. Accordingly i reached at 17.30pm to make payment of rs.14, 569/- and pick up my vehicle as i had an appointment at 7pm. I was told that the vehicle had gone for cleaning and is in the parking. I waited till 6.30pm and then saw my vehicle coming inside the workshop and the driver and the supervisor /adviser were discussing something and were looking serious. I was told that the break failed and brake oil leaked while bringing.
When they lifted my vehicle up in the bay, i could see the big black rubber/plastic flap at the bottom was bent downward and oil was leaking from the right wheel. It was apparent that the vehicle passed over a big stone or something breaking the brake oil pipe. Just to put on record that when both front wheels t were removed, i saw inner part and the bottom being full of mud, not cleaned properly. I was told to wait at the reception and after an hour an inflated bill of rs15, 769.00 was given to me where as the original full and final bill was rs14, 569/-. They should not have charged me for breaking the breakoil pipe by them due to impact somewhere.
I kept cool and paid the revised bill of rs15, 769/-at at 19.05pm and saw one person wiping the oils and rubbing the window shield with the same cloth.
At 19.45pm, the vehicle was delivered to me. I told that the windshield has oil stains and is not transparent. I was told by the adviser that we will get it picked up tomorrow for cleaning.
My real problem started within 1 km i drove. The indicator on the deskboard suddenly blinked for door open icon/indicator and cabin light got on as if i opened my door. I stopped, opened and closed all doors again including the dickey and moved again. It happened again after a while. Finally i reached home in one hour, stopping 5/6 times on the way of just 6kms.
It was already 9pm and i cancelled my dinner meeting and went home parking my vehicle in society. I heard the autocop alarm and went to find that door open sign was blinking and autocop making extreme sound. I stopped it and went home. It was happening many a times and the guard complained that the vehicle is disturbing neighbors, who have exam in the next morning. Guard said it was happening after every 5/10 minutes. I looked at the watch and was midnight. I went down and saw many residents near my car, who initially panicked fearing some riot taking place and police has come. I had to say sorry to them and finally i opened all the doors and was surprised to see being flooded with water. I wiped doors one by one and found water going inside the cut-off switch (Black pin type) which does inside when we close the door. At 1pm finally i wiped all water and got it dried to stop the door open icon initiating and the autocop doing nuisance.
Due to not wiping water after washing the car, me along with four of my neighbors has lost sleep last night, added to disturbing board appearing students.
I need to know the followings:-
1. Why did you send a message that vehicle is ready and to pick up the vehicle when it was not ready.
2. Why did you bill me for the damage of breakoil pipes and leaking break oils which was done by your driver/technician. It was not there when i went for test drive in the morning and was not there till 6.30pm.
3. Why the car bottom not cleaned/washed and the rubber /plastic flap was seen sagging in the middle, aparently due to inpact?
4. Why water was not wiped out from doors leading to the problems and eventually disturbing me and my neighbors?
Please revert before i take further legal options.
