Address: | Mahindra India Garage, Whitefield |
I had booked a Mahindra Scorpio N Z8 Petrol Manual variant on 18th of August 2022 from the Mahindra website auto.mahindra.com
and the dealer India Garage, Whitefield, Bangalore.
After that the online Customer Promised Date for delivery was showing Jan-Feb 2024 for me.
I followed up several times with the dealer for more than 13 months and I was told by Mr Ramesh from the dealership on 29th August 2023 that the vehicle is in manufacturing and will be delivered within a month.
After waiting and following up again with the dealer and Mahindra customer care to update the online status, we visited the dealership on 21st Sept 2023 and we were told by Mr Arindam
that there was a miscommunication and that the vehicle is not in manufacturing but they will prioritise the delivery for us. To this we questioned them about our suspicion that they have given our vehicle to another customer at a premium.
On 29th Sept 2023, Mr Arindam informed us that a request for allocation has been sent by them and the vehicle should arrive in 1 month.
On the afternoon of 30th Sept 2023, I was shocked to receive an email from [protected]@mahindra.com that the booking cancellation has been initiated.
We immediately contacted Mr Arindam from India Garage, Whitefield regarding this and were told not to worry about this.
After this for the past 4-5 days I have followed up with Mahindra on Twitter(X)/Email/Phone and not getting the resolution.
On the Mahindra website, the booking is still not available.
This is clear to me that Mahindra has given my vehicle to somebody else at a premium. And fraudulently cancelled my booking after I waited for 14 months.
Now the dealer is asking me to make a fresh booking with them.
This is a corrupt nexus between Mahindra and their dealership due to which I am suffering as a customer without any fault.
I would like to escalate this issue and challenge them on all possible platforms to get resolution.
