I have bought a new kuv 100 petrol version k8 six seater 2 months back from india garage pc road bangalore. However, my personal experience with this car and india garage people is very disappointing. I am facing lots of problem's with this car, initially when i complained regarding some functions not working with demo person namely - search buzzer is not functioning if pressed, hand break symbol is not appearing on the display panel, noise arising out of brakes, mileage was way below the standards say 9kmpl in city with ac. Distance to petrol bunk indicator was not working. After complaining to the gm of india garage, the issue was addressed by the garage engineers after one month.
On the 21st of june 2016, my vehicle engine got switched off in the middle of the road. The indicator on the panel was glowing continuously with the engine symbol the user manual says if the engine indicator glows it means the vehicle's engine has got some problem.
I contacted the india garage workshop ans sent my vehicle with them for addressing this issue, they came back in the evening stating all is fine and that they have upgraded the software.
My questions:
1. How can a 2 month old vehicle have software issues?
2. Even if that persists would the vehicle come to a stop in the middle of the road?
3. What if there was a speeding vehicle behind me, they could have rammed fro behind since the vehicle stopped all of a sudden.
4. The service engineer mr. Manjunath was not telling us the exact cause of the issue, and was trying to convince me with a version which is not acceptable.
My doubts on the quality and safety of the vehicle is becoming strong with each passing day. Also the attitude of india garage people in being lethargic and inattentive is causing more misery to the problem.
Would request the concerned to attend this issue on priority else i will be forced to seek a legal recourse.
