I'm a loyal customer of maruti suzuki. I was also impressed of your new model of cars and their performance on road.
Due to which 1st time i thought to shift on mahindra and mahindra and wish to purchase a vehicle from your company. I went to your authorised dealer hav motors pvt. Ltd, patliputra, patna, bihar.
In first look my preferance was to buy quanto c4 for which i paid a booking amount of rs10, 000/=
After 2 days i changed my mind and shifted to scorpio s2 and got the delivery of scorpio s2 on 14th of february 2016.
At the time of delivery the sales team of hav motors headed by mr. Ravi shrivastav, told me that the amount 10, 000/= which i had paid for the booking of quanto c4 will neither be refunded nor adjusted till the time that vehicle (Quanto c4) will purchased by someone else.
They forced me to pay extra amount of rs10, 000/= to get the delivery of scorpio s2.
I requested them to deduct the penalty amount for cancellation of booking of quanto c4 and adjust the rest in scorpio s2 (Although i have not cancelled my booking, i just shifted it from quanto c4 to scorpio s2).
It was told to me by the marketing team of hav motors headed by mr. Ravi shrivastav that "its m&m rule that once you pay the booking amount and if you cancel the booking you will not get refund till the time the proposed booked vehicle has not being purchased by someone else" (Although i have not cancelled my booking, i just shifted it from quanto c4 to scorpio s2).
And upon this clause they've kept my booking amount of quanto c4 (I. E. Rs10, 000/=) with them till today.
Sir/madam, i've purchased vehicle of mahindra and mahindra, weather it is quanto c4 or scorpio s2, it dosen't matter..
I am your customer and i want an explanation of such rule..
If m&m dosen't follow such type of bull rule then plz intrust your authorised dealer m/s hav motors pvt. Ltd. To refund the amount immediately and do not play with such a big car manufacturer name.. Ultimately your name is on stake due to the misbehave and worst services of your authorised dealer...

Mahindra And Mahindra customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
This is Ranjan Kale from Nagpur. I purchased a new Thar CRDE 4×4 (Soft top) from your esteemed company through Provincial Automobiles on 1st of June 2016. To my utter disbelief the vehicle was delivered to me without a proper PDI. The entire rear cage was rattling and the rear door along with the Stepney was making irritable noise. I went next day to get faults rectified, it took almost 8 hours but all in vain as the mechanics couldn't figure out the problem. Along with your company service personnel i myself tightened all nuts and bolts which surprisingly were all loose & should have been tightened during PDI. The problems still persisted and finally i had to rope in a local mechanic to add foam here and there to avoid the cage from making noise.
Also the hinges of rear door were tightened by me. Does Mahindra as a company, expects me to drive a brand new vehicle with foams tucked in here and there. I feel embrassed when people enquire what are the foam paddings for? I paid 10 lacs for this? Inspite of padding the cage makes noise when the vehicle turns or crosses a pot hole and on rough roads.
On the 3rd day i discovered that wheel arches were corroded as the powder coating was peeling off, service centre said they will get a free replacement. The glove box fitting was also faulty from day one and had to be closed with lot of effort. On asking was told to bang the drawer against the lock.The thar has not even for a single day given me the joy of having bought a new ride. Your personnel are incompetent and offer zero customer satisfaction. Also how are vehicles being delivered with faulty parts from a company with more than 50 years of competance and reputation attached to it.
When i visited Provincial Automobiles showroom, what caught my attention was quality assurance, promises mentioned by
Mr Pawan Goenka & welcoming each customer to the Mahindra Family. I feel unwelcomed & dejected making this purchase.
I feel i did a big blunder by getting lured into buying Mahindra " Thar", watching it perform on your igatpuri tracks on YouTube with such good engine and 4×4 performance.
Experiencing what substandard fittings Mahindra has delivered to me, dont feel like refering it to any, inspite of such Good power and such wonderful off-roading abilities like self locking differential with 2500 cc engine, the vehicle seems substandard on the exterior.
I feel like posting pics of these faulty attachments on social media so that henceforth people are not cheated and might register a complaint with the consumer forum for being delivered a faulty vehicle if the faults are not rectified with immediate effect.
I have all vehicles ranging from a Mercedes ML 350, BMW 530D, Volkswagen Polo GT TSI, Hyundai Sonata CRDE and a Maruti Gypsy 98 model, but till date in 15 years of driving, i have not felt the mental agony with any other brand as your company has given me.
I felt like reporting the matter to the top notch of this company as it is a serious quality Glich and the situation brings lot of disrepute to the Brand.
Please ask your representative to come up with a prompt solution on the above mentioned issues ASAP, as your company has miserably failed to deliver any quality or promises expected.
