I am shaleen p m, from chennai. I bought mahindra xuv 500 w7 (Ch no ma1yu2wtuj6k19138) reg no – tn-12-ab-3424, on 21st december 2018 from zulaikha motors, velachery, chennai.
I am facing problem with steering rack (Rattling sound with vibrations on to the steering wheel) from day 1 of my purchase and its been 5 months now and the problem is not identified or fixed by your service team. I have made uncountable visits to the service station - ambattur estate (Zulaikha motors) in this time period.
This problem was not identified by the zulaikha team during pdi. This was informed during the customer feedback call which i received from mahindra. Also, it was informed to zulaikha sales/service personnel on day 1, who requested me to bring the vehicle for the first service after 500 km and mentioned that this issue will be fixed then.
I gave the vehicle for service (1st) on 28th dec 2019 and the problem still exist. I have also finished my 2nd service after 5000 kms on 28th march 2019, but the problem still exist and i am very unhappy with the vehicle and mahindra’s attitude towards me as a customer.in between the two service i was asked to bring the vehicle to service station on 10th jan 2019 and the vehicle was kept by them for 10 days and i was informed that it was inspected by the r&d department people. However the problem still remains when the vehicle was returned on 21st jan.
I have sent email regarding this to mr. Gopalakrishnan n (Gopalakrishnan. [protected]@mahindra.com) on 29th dec 2018 explaining these details and i never received a reply or acknowledgement for my email from him. This email id was shared by mr. Srinivasan (Service manager - zulaikha).
I spoke to karthick, when called on the customer care no[protected] on 20th may 2019, and he has informed that i will receive a call from the concerned team in the morning same day.
I would like to know if my complaint will be taken seriously only if i make a scene out of this on social media platforms. I have waited patiently and have none left anymore. So, this will be the last try before i make a legal complaint regarding this and notify others of the customer service mahindra is providing.
