Mahindra And Mahindra — tuv 300 not starting but vibrating heavily instead | |||
From the last 6 months i have been facing starting problem with my tuv 300. Many a times, when i try to start my tuv, it takes the self but does not start and vibrates/shakes heavily. Initially, it used to start in the second or third self but now the last week, when i dropped my child at the school and came back in my car, it refused to start at all despite 20-25 attempts (Selfs)... I finally had to leave my car car there only and came back after 3 -4 hrs with a mechanic but then the car started in single attempt only... I have lost all the faith in mahindra brand as this is my first product from mahindra that too with such a poor experience. After searching online, i realised it's a common problem with tuv 300 and many other users have also shared their similar experiences but not resolution as such. The mahindra people simply tell it's a battery problem which is not true. I have taken a pledge that i will never buy any mahindra product in future neither will recommend. Exact same problem with my 2016 TUV 3OO T6 model. It happened one day when I was somewhere in the hills - I turned On the ignition - and it made a continuous Gharr Gharr Gharr Gharr noise and Heavy vibration and it won't start. I had to turn off the ignition. Tried again but same thing. And again. So 3 times same issue. Then I waited for 3-4 minutes and tried again and this time it worked. It was the first time so i ignored. But then this happened again and then again. On an average, it happens, let's say 1 out of 150 times. But now I'm scared when I try to start the vehicle. My mind is always thinking if that will happen again? Un-necessary tension. And Services Center guys told me that it could be Battery. But I was NOT convinced. Mahindra Service Centre mechanics can do general service - but NONE of them are good enough to fix issues. Not even a single one. I don't know what to do now. There is another issue I'm facing now - when I apply brakes - there's a khat khat noise everytime. And as usual, the Service Centre guys have NO clue at all. Searching for some 3rd party repair centre now? Really sad.
