The xuv 500 that i have driven for almost 5 years now, had a sudden brake failure and it was only my god luck that the vehicle was going very slow into the parking area.
I got it towed to the workshop only to be told that the brakes had failed. It was obvious. But for the past one month i have been trying to find the reason for brake failure even after the best possible maintenance. The vehicle gets serviced every 10, 000 km and recently i changed the battery and the tyres.
I have been asking this question that such a sudden onset of failure when driving on highways could cause a calamity, but in vain. Mahindra does not seem interested in people who ask them questions.
Secondly, the company used to seek feedback after every servicing but surprisingly after this servicing and repair combined, automotives (The dealer where i purchased the vehicle) does not seem to be bothered.
I hope mr anand mahindra understands that it is scary to take your family in a car whose breaks can fail anytime and anywhere.
