[Resolved] Mahindra And Mahindra — xuv 500 rusting issue | |||
Dear sir, I shankaran bought my xuv 500 vehicle number on 02/11/2015 and within the completion of 2 years, i found all 5 (Five) doors of my car have started rusting. And the same was brought to the notice of mahindra authorized service center india garage peenya bangalore. And they replaced 4 doors (Front rh, front lh, rear lh, boot) of my vehicle and not one door (Rear rh) for god only knows reason. And now the rusting has again started near rear lh door (They call the rusted area as running board). The boot door which was replaced under warranty is also rusting again. And now they are refusing to replace the rusted parts citing there is a delay in approval. The second rusting was brought to notice them 3 months back. I have purchased extended warranty too. Now i sincerely request mahindra to approve the replacement of boot door & rear lh door and make a thorough check of my vehicle and replace all rusted parts. Same problem here and it's seriously annoying that a car I purchased for Rs 18 L in 2017 June, would have all doors rusted and replaced by April 2019! Lucky me I was within warranty back then! but god knows whether my dealer M/S Shree Automotive, Kolkata actually replaced or did a patch work last year and just a year and a half has past and my front right door inner panel is so rusted that you just have to tap it and it'll fall off.
I am out of warranty now ( didn't buy Extended Warranty for some reasons ) and have a rusty tin box for which I'll be paying EMI for couple more years! I am seriously worried and annoyed.

Same problem with my car xuv 500. it is only some 7 year and is rusting everywhere, where as age old maruthis are still intact. when approached the Mahindra show room in JAKKUR, Bangalore SIREESH AUTO they are asking rates which are seriously unaffordable . while the problem is with Mahindra why there is no support . i am ready to pay 50% of the bill .

But issue looks more managerial then service centers. From last 3 years my vehicle is undergoing rusting work. How ever it is re-occuring again and again and that also on the same places. It must have happened for atleast 4 to 5 times.
This issue started when my vehicle met with an accident and underinsurance it was repaired. It was a huge work and of course I will again not fail to mention here that your service center M/s BM bhuj troubled me a lot.
At the same time I also felt and now it's prooved that they have done some kind o[censored]nprofessional work and not used genuine spares like the new bonet, left side doors, roof etc which is still now giving issues of rusting. It is also imperative to mention here that after insurance the changed spares have to be shown to customer which was not done after repeated calls to M/s BM bhuj. That explains why it was so. They have just claimed huge money through insurance and not changed any spares.
Now when the vehicle is still under warranty, your company is not still ready to change the part but again do repair work so that this warranty period is just over and then next time I pay from my pocket.
When you know that this issue is purely of material failure then why this patch work. Why repeatedly your doing the same work and not changing the panels under warranty and that also knowing the complete history.
I would also like to mention here Mr kantappa Patted who help me in all ways possible to get my vehicle back on road and just because of him I dint approach consumer court and he kept his promise. He was the man of his words. But once he left things dint go as he promised.
My experience with Mahindra company has been very sad and I have been the most unsatisfied customer from last 5 years. Just because of loan issues I am keeping the vehicle or else would have sold it long back.
Now it is my humble request that I would like to have certificate claiming that this rusting will not appear again and on same places. You change repair or do anything but this time I think I would appreciate if things go in writing and no verbal talks. As i was promised I will have no issues and everything will be changed under warranty if anything happens after that horrific experience with M/s BM bhuj.
Thought it was kept for a large extent. But now it looks your running away from your promises. And not giving me any choices.
Hopping to have a permanent solution.
