MakeMyTrip India — Non-Receipt of Refund for the International Flight from CPH to DEL booked online through MakeMyTrip cancelled by the Airline

Copenhagen-Delhi leg (01 March 2026) of the Delhi-Copenhagen (23 Feb 2026) & Copenhagen-Delhi (01 March 2026) Air India Return Flight booked by me through the Travel Portal "Make My Trip" (PNR: 8FFPCL) was cancelled by the Airline and the fight rescheduled on my request for 02 March 2026 was also cancelled by the Airline and therefore, Refund request was initiated by me online direct with the Airline as well as through the "Make My India" Travel Portal on 03 March 2026. To my direct refund request I was advised by the Air India by email to contact the Travel Agent/Portal. MakeMyTrip has failed to arrange my refund from the Airline despite lapse of more than 15 days and there is no proper mechanism to persue the matter with them. MakeMyTrip App or the website provides standard status that the Refund is under process with no link for reminding them or asking them to clarify the delay. It seems that the Travel Agency deliberately avoids proper interaction with their customers to address their concerns which is highly unethical and condemnable. Strangely neither the Airline nor the MakeMyTrip people are accessible for resolution of my grievance which has arisen not because of any act on my part but by the cancellation of the Flight by the airline which otherwise also cause lot of inconvenience to me and extra expenses in arranging alternative return flight of some other Airline at excessive price.
