Maruti Suzuki — Failure of Dealer Commitment

Hi, This is with ref to the booking made as per below detailsDate of booking n payment: 3rd Feb 2015 Booking for : Maruti Dzire VXi 2015Booking amount paid : Rs.5000 Ref. ALLOT no. : [protected]Dealer / Showroom : Competent Automobile Gazipur Delhi EastSales person : Mr. AllauddinImmediate officer in charge : Mr. Nihar aeron (GM Sales)Car was booked in the name of Mr. VINAY KUMAR. even the chasis no. Of the car was mentioned on the papers.Delivery Commitment given by dealer : within 10 daysBased on the dealer commitnent, we have got our loan sanctioned from punjab national bank and reached at the agency for delivery of the car.Issue : We have been denied to give the delivery of the booked car.Reason given by dealer :1. The car has been sold to other party.2. No availability of dezire at any of the competent showroom and Maruti has stopped the supply of dzire and not taking any booking of dezire.Thats why they can not give car. And we have been asked to cancel our booking.We have requested several times to arrange a car as loan interest has started.We even put a complaint at Maruti customer care over the phone.( [protected] ) But there is no resolution.Then we approached other dealer in Delhi and Magic Auto Karol Bagh has promised to deliver the car and as per them there is no shortage of Maruti dzire at Maruti.We booked dzire at Magic Auto and got our Car on 15 Feb. Thanks to Magic Auto.Explanation required :1. Is booking commitment is not sufficient for a customer to believe ?2. Is the booked car can be sold to any other party without any intimation to customer? 3. How Maruti take care of such cases where dealer commitment fails?4. Why should a customer do the booking cancellation when fault is of dealer?5. Why does two dealers comunicating and serving differntly ?6. Who is responsible for the customer dissatisfaction ?7. Who will do the booking cancellation and when would we recieve refund of booking amount along with suitable compensation as seen by Maruti?8. How would Maruti assure that the same incident would not be repeated with any other customer?I would request Maruti Management to take care this complaint seriously and make some guidelines regarding such cases.Also would wait for quick reply and satisfactory resolution.Regards, Vivek Chauhan [protected]@gmail.com
