I, CA Manu Sharma, am resident of Meerut and have book Swift
DZIRE (Model- VDI) from one of your dealers i.e. M/S Tanya Automobile; by
paying booking amount of INR 10, 000/- on 10th Feb 2015. However, I
was asked to wait for a week to get the delivery of desired car model. On the
scheduled date they told me that my chosen model of car was not available.
After that I was asked to visit their showroom over and over to get my car
delivery but on each visit they (M/S Tanya automobile) said they still don’t
have that model (just to add I used to take leave from my office in Noida for
visiting their Showroom in Meerut). Moreover, after a while they stopped
entertaining my calls. On 8th or 9th March 2015 I
got a call from them asking me to pay the balance amount of INR 784, 000 and
take delivery the next day. I paid the amount of INR 784, 000 via RTGS Transfer
(UTR No.- PSIB [protected]) on 10 March 2015, however on visiting the Showroom
I was again told that the model is not there as its not coming from factory for
sometime now (even though the same model was available with other car dealers
in Meerut). After some time they asked me to visit M/S RAJSNEHA Automobiles and
gave me the cheque for INR 784, 000/- to make payment to RAJSNEHA; in order to
harass me they asked for STOP payment of the cheque.
The above incident had caused great mental agony and has
moved my trust in MARUTI company as I don’t understand how they give Franchise
to such fraudsters. I would like the responsible person in MARUTI company to
take care of this incidents a it impact their credibility. If requisite action
is not taken then I would not shy from taking LEGAL RECOURSE (via Consumer
court) as this has declined my credibility and Goodwill in market.
Please please please
!!! take some strict action.
