I have a maruti swift car mh-46 z-5715. My brakes had got jammed during driving, because of that i had dashed to the other car. Would like to know the reason for my car brakes getting jammed as it is a serious issue in which i would have met with a major accident, causing damage to life of self, family or others. There was no indication in the vehicle also while driving.
Though it was shown by your workshop technician at mira road - spectra motors to me that, mouse had got damaged to the filter, so dust had entered because of which brakes had got jammed.

This is in reference to your vehicle bearing reg no mh46z5715 which has reported to workshop for vehicle not stating and brake not effective at 24, 899kms. Sir we have checked and found that the air - filter assy and air filter element is eaten by rat due to this pieces of filter element had sucked in the cylinder head, the suction to brake booster is taken through air filter assy and due to leakage of air the brake booster does not get proper air supply to operate due to this the brakes are not effective.
Sir, the pieces of air filter elements are sucked in cylinder head due to this it needs overhauling and the approximate cost will be rs 20, 000/-. Plus gst. This is for your information regarding brake not effective

2. Also when we start the vehicle after a long time there is jerk observed, in which the accelerator is not effective initially.
