I bought a celerio vxi (O) amt on invoice date 30/4/17 from one auto kalikapur and within 11 months it stopped on the road for unknown reason. I called for the on road service and they came after 3 hours though the distance from service center to car breakdown place is less than 20 kms. The servicing guy took only 10 minutes and suggested for towing the car to service center by my own expense as the car has some serious issue with its gearbox and could not be fixed on road. As i was not present there and only my family was travelling by that car so i suggested my driver over phone to tow the car to our garage for the time being and asked service personnel to tow the car on any day so that i can go to the service center with the car. The service center suggested me that the towing expenses will be paid by me and i will be paid back to me later on. The next day when i called the manager of the service center he at first did not receive my call twice and on the third time he received the call and started misbehaving with me by saying when he is not taking the call i should have the sense to understand that he must be busy with something. This is really very insulting and miserable experience with maruti service.
My questions are if there is any quality check done by maruti before delivering the car to buyers? Secondly, if maruti has any system to monitor the behavior of dealers and service center personnel?
Thirdly, if on road assistance reaches after 3 hours from calling the service center which is less than 20 kms away then please stop featuring that service while selling cars. Was this information helpful? |
