We bought Baleno Aplpha 1.2 Petrol on 27 OCTOBER 2017 from VARUN NEXA - VISAKHAPATNAM Dealer with Registration Id as AP31 ED 1590 owner Mr Ravindra Pal Singh.
At the the time of purchase was told its a top end model with Alloy wheels and stepney included with many other features. But the relationship manager didn’t tell us or took time to show that the stepney included is not Alloy rather its a Steel Rim Type. Which i discovered after one month when the front wheel got punctured.
I brought this issue to the General Manager Mr Srikanth and Quality manager Mr Samuel about why there was a Steel Rim stepney of R15 size when all the 4 Alloy wheels are R16 size and it looks very odd and have speed restriction of 80kmph. It wasn’t acceptable when i have bought a top end model. And moreover there is no information included about the stepney size and material in the brochures. Upon which i was told the information about stepney size and material is included in the Car Instuction Manual. Does that mean one should read the whole manual than think of buying a car, Then i would suggest you should hand over the Manuals as soon the customer visits your store instead of brochures. They assured me that they will escalate my issue to the higher authority and get back to me.
I was expecting a positive solution but no I didn’t hear any reply of my mail about the different size of stepney.
I tried to contact the Nexa customer care and followed with GM and Quality Manager personally but nothing worked.
I was also told this steel rim is included for the safety aspect as when in use the driver would get the actual punctured tyre repaired soon instead of running on stepney. But this option should be left on the customer when they are buying the car.
Its been quite a long time and i haven’t got any solution to this issue. Am not satisfied even after going for the top end model and their service and request your support for the same. Was this information helpful? |
