Hello,
I am Shamanth, we booked a new swift vxi in Sagar Maruti showroom(Shimoga Dist, Karnataka) on 17th Jan 2015 with Initial payment of Rs.10000/-. The area manager confirmed that the delivery will be given in 30 days irrespective of the color of the car booked, again after couple of days he told delivery time is 45 days from the date of booking. Now he is telling the delivery can not be provided due to increase in demand and there is no adequate supply.
I enquired in one of the Bangalore showroom and they are ready to give the delivery in 20 days from the date of booking.
First, he is not bothered about informing us the delay in delivery of the vehicle, we are calling him number of times and he is not even responding to our calls. From 15 days we arranged the amount but not getting the delivery. I chosen Maruti because of the trust it created. Due to that manager many people in my place having similar problems and going for other company cars who are giving better service.
If i do not get my delivery by this weekend I am going to cancel my booking and will go for other company car. Also, I will tell my experience to many people that do not got for Maruti due to the harassment from the manager. I already talked to local consumer forum representative and will not leave the issue just like that.
I am interested in having a call with one of consumer manager.
