Sir/Madam,
This is Yash Agrawal, I met fatal accident in November 2020, after that I stationed my collided car, Vehicle Number - MP09 CL 8579
at Rukmani Maruti Suzuki Showroom, 59/3 Dewas Road, opposite Bhushan Petrol Pump, Ujjain (MP) for the Insurance claim.
After approximately 2-3 months ( very big time ) Insurance company and the Show room's concerned authority decided that my car will go in complete loss.
I accepted it as I was left with no other choices, after that the Showroom demanded estimate and preparation cost also. They informed me that they will take 500 ₹ per day parking up to the time insurance company do not take the car away from showroom.
Insurance company told me it will take 15-20 days minimum to take the car away from the parked spot and suggested that it's better if I keep car at my own place.
Showroom's authority handed over the car and said that the car tyres and remaining broken items are placed inside the car. Door locks were not working so they latched them by a rope and charged estimate making amount and took my signature on receipt of car handover procedure.
When the Insurance company inspected, they informed me that lot of essential parts are missing from the car and now they would be deducting money from the claim.
Total Insurance claim of my car is valued at 2.7 Lacs and the spare parts removed by Showroom costs 1.2 Lac as mentioned by Insurance company.
Insurance company have car pictures which were taken by surveyor making them correct that Music System, EFC center console and other items are not present in the car.
When I raised this issue in Rukmani Maruti Suzuki Showroom's authority, they sternly denied and said that we had already handed over the car to you, showing me the receipt.
I have no expertise in Mechanics and having met a dreaded accident in which I barely escaped death left me in big shock.
That time, I was not in the mental frame to note down and make list of the intact and broken items while submitting my car putting faith in the Showroom's authority.
At the time of delivery I could only check if they kept tyres inside the car.
As i mentioned earlier that at the time of taking car away from the Showroom, the doors were latched by rope but inside they put car rims tyres and broken plastic parts.
Later, I found that same incident has happened with another customer as well, he also found that same parts were missing from his car when he parked in the Rukmani Showroom, Ujjain, but his car was in Showroom only.
After heated conversation and much pressure they returned the parts.
In my case they are bluntly denying of removing parts of my car by showing my signed receipt of the deliverance of the car.
Their fraudulent activities are not only troubling customers like me but many more.
I humbly request you to help me in this regard as I am facing big trouble.
