[Resolved]  Maruti Suzuki — unsatisfactory work and misleading customer

My complaint regarding service rendered to me against my vehicle no UP32 CV 8078 which was done at one up motors transport nagar, lucknow can broadly be broken up in the following points:  At time of taking the vehicle in for repairs I was informed that the tyre on the driver side has a damaged ream and is inflated from inside. Further I was told that the ream cannot be repaired and complete replacement will be required of the full set.  At the time of delivery of the vehicle the damaged ream along with the tyre was put in rear axle left side without my knowledge or consent. The same was noticed by me only after I came home. What is the meaning of this? If customer is not alert, then his/her life is cheap, let him face the consequences, who cares. Is this what you mean by customer quality assurance and satisfaction?  Further I was told that the upholstery of my car needs cleaning and I was charged 750 plus other amount. On reaching home what I found was then back magazine rake holder of both my seats have been torn, which were in perfect condition at time of vehicle delivery. So this is your care level?  Next in the name of clg all that has been done is to spray the covers with unjustifiable amt of chemicals making sitting in the seat a real pain in the . The steering cover grip was uncomfortable to handle, repeatedly my hand was slipping and I very nearly had a collision due to improper control as a result.  The interior of the car has not been cleaned at all. The space above accelerator assly has just not been touched; it is still laden with dust, grime of all sorts. Further paint marks have been left at various places of the car, a result of the denting painting work that was undertaken.  The carpet area in dick has all bolts missing, and seat cover behind it is laced with paint. The condition is so bad that the entire seat cover of back seat and carpet requires replacement, all thanks to then marvellous clg work done at the upholstery.  In the name of wheel alignment and balancing money is charged. Next thing you know by the time the car is driveneven for 5 kms everything comes back to square one. As of now my car balancing/ alingnment is in the same condition as it was before service. Excuse given by your mechanic is that the moment the tyre goes into some pothole or a unusual jerk occurs the alignment ends. If so why on hell do you charge customers for an unnecessary and uncalled for work? If not, then what is the point of paying for a service which deserves no purpose. Wake up, from your air conditioned cocooned offices and see what is happening on the ground.  It seems your company workshop only follows one principle” Customer is a fool, make a jackass out of him, fleece him for money, satisfaction be damned”. Well I have news for you, this the internet age and I will make sure that one up motors transport nagar is not allowed to go scot free after what they have done to me. after I came home. What is the meaning of this? This means that either I was made
a complete idiot at time of vehicle delivery or some other cheap gimmickry was restored
to in order to pull wool over my eyes? If customer is not alert, then his/her
life is cheap, let him face the consequences, who cares. Is this what you mean
by customer quality assurance and satisfaction? Ø

Further I was told
that the upholstery of my car needs cleaning and I was charged 750 plus other
amount. On reaching home what I found was then back magazine rake holder of

service with a smile? If this is not fleecing a customer then what else is it?
Have you people completely forgotten the principles on which this company was founded?
Does the word “Kaizen” mean anything to you anymore, or should I remind you what
it stands for?

Next in the name of clg all that has been done is to spray

with such good quality of service, you are steadily losing ground to your competitors.

The bottom line I am disgusted and fed up with you and your
service. I will ensure that all those I know on the social media are aware of
this and if possible convince them all that no one in his right frame of mind should
ever any maruti product. On top of it today on a working day when I do
not have any time to spare from my official duties a phone call comes and the person
asks what can be done to work out a compromise? What compromise, I have been
fleeced, looted made a fool of and now you expect me to sing your workshop
managers tune?

It seems your company
workshop only follows one principle” Customer is a fool, make a jackass out of
him, fleece him for money, satisfaction be damned”. This matter will not end here, not any time
soon, that much I promise you.
