Max Bupa — False mediclaim policy

My parents have 16 Lac mediclaim policy with max bupa for 2 years now. My mother was diagnosed with multiple myeloma form of bone cancer and the doctors started their sessions of chemotherapy for 16 weeks. The so called insurance company rejected the claim straight away saying that we have hidden this disease prior to taking the policy. They simply are not understanding that if my mother suffers from cancer they why will we wait for 2 years to get the treatment done.

My Claim id is 159804.

The took 3 months to give their decision on the claim and finally rejected it. In the mean time we have sent over 9 Lacs already on the treatment and the so called insurance company MAXBUPA is least bothered and have taken no action what so ever. Also we lost fair bit of time as well as they took 3 months to give this false decision and we were sure that we would get help from them.


This in my view is utter non-sense and companies like these should be shut asap. My Claim id is 159804.
