I bought policy of 5lacs from maxbupa after taking everything written in email by maxbupa executive. They told me that there will not be any kind of waiting period for me as i have policy more than 3 years from different company. They sent me policy document which was having complete waiting period same day i informed customer care and i have been told that this will be rectified and they will send me revised document but there was not response at all. I did escalated all three level which is on maxbupa grievance systme but there was no response after few days one called me saying that we can not give you ported policy as insured with other company was written by mistake 2018 instead of 2016 this was type error as this was written by pen. He told me rudely that if you go and escalate on higher level i did escalation on level but no response again i tried contacting higher level gargi sahu but even she was not bother to response on my query. I bough policy on 20th june 2019 and till today my query has not been resolved they have sent me again new document which is having one year of waiting period. They charged me higher premium than earlier company. There is no meaning of selecting health insurance with waiting period as i don't have any kind of waiting period for existing policy. The response from maxbupa was pathetic and no one will bother to resolve query in maxbupa. If you say that i want to cancel policy simply they will tell they will deduct 75% from from premium. Why they want to deduct 75%.
Please be aware while selecting this worst company for health insurance. Simply maxbupa is not recommended.
Also i have filled application in consumer court for above matter lets see how this is going further. Will post again. Was this information helpful? |
