Mcdonald's India — Mosquito found in my McDonald's beverage

Date of incident - 18/02/17 at McDonalds, Fun Republic Mall, Andheri West.

Diners have no choice but to place trust in a restaurant’s management. After all, they have no control over the preparation of the food they will be eating. A recent visit to McDonald’s destroyed whatever confidence I had in your establishment.

I was shocked to find a mosquito in my Mixed Berries Smoothie. Needless to say, I was thoroughly disgusted. When I informed the Manager (Nikhil Barve) about this mishap, the solution he offered was a free beverage next time I visit them. I demanded a refund and it was not acknowledged. The reason given was that a refund cannot be issued once a bill is punched.

I’m really upset at the level of disrespect, lack of customer service and the unprofessional way this incident was handled. I am sure this occurrence is not in compliance with Food Safety and Standards Authority of India and I expect a response to this disaster.
