I ordered through a scan code of Mc Donalds for the outlet at Fun Republic mall, Gomtinagar, lucknow on 18 June 2021. The payment was deducted successfully from my card and order was confirmed with invoice and order on my Watsap number. But the outlet refused to deliver stating that the scan code is not working. When confirmed with the store manager Mr Sujeet Yadav he also accepted that it is a mistake from Mc Donalds and I shouldnt have received the confirmation for the order if the scan code process was not working and assured that message for the refund will be received in few minutes although it is not recieved yet, it’s been 24 hours now.
If I will not receive any message for the refund then I have only one alternative and that is to complain to the consumer forum for such fraud from such a company of repute
