To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a payment issue that occurred at your McDonald’s outlet located in Celebration Mall, Udaipur, Rajasthan.
On [insert exact date and time of visit], I placed an order and paid for it using GPay (UPI). The payment was successfully deducted from my SBI bank account, and I immediately received a confirmation message. However, the store staff claimed that the payment was not received on their end and insisted that I make the payment again in cash, which I was forced to do to receive my order.
Despite showing them the UPI transaction confirmation and bank message, they ignored my concerns. I now have made two payments for the same order – one via GPay and one in cash. I have:
The cash receipt from the store
The GPay UPI transaction details from my bank
I attempted to resolve the matter by contacting the store earlier, but no action or follow-up has been taken till now.
Request:
I request a full refund of the duplicate payment (either the GPay or the cash amount of ₹246) and a written apology for the inconvenience caused. Kindly investigate this incident on priority and ensure such issues are not repeated in the future.
Attached are screenshots of both the UPI transaction and cash receipt for your verification.
