Mobikwik — supercash utilization restrictions by company | |||
The company gives cashback on some payments in the form of supercash but unlike other e commerce sites like paytm, freecharge, etc. The supercash cannot be utilised like ready cash. Further the site keeps on changing its policies every now and then and prohibits the cashback given to be utilised as free cash. It has limited its use recently to only local stores which are basically not acceptable for the common people for shopping - there are food outlets but that too limited and being health conscious nobody would like to have outside food regularly. Further outside delhi there are very few options left for customers. Written to mobikwik many times but whereas one can earn supercash but cannot use it indiscrimately. Further as per their faqs only 5% or 10% of the supercash balance can be utilized for one transaction and the validity period although has been increased to 3 months but it does not solve our purpose-normally online transactions are done for bill payments and recharges but mobikwik has discontinued the use of supercash for payments. Cashback should be as good as cash then why restrictions by the company for its usage? I believe it to be an unfair trade practice. If the company is going to eat up our cashback money it should not go in for offers at all.
