Motorola — Faulty handset

I had ordered Moto G(2nd generation phone on 5th September 2014) through flipkart. There was a problem charging the phone as the phone was not charging when the charger was plugged. Even the mobile charger given by the company is not working properly. After 10 working days the authorized service center is telling that the mother board is dead. How can charging slot problem make the mother board dead. this is the most weird response from Motorola service center. The phone is still under warranty. Please help me in getting this faulty mobile repaired or getting them replaced. Please find the invoice attached. Please find my contact details. [protected] Contact No: +91-[protected].
