My car was flood-affected in Dec 2023. myTVS took 17 months to return it in May 2025 — but with unresolved issues. I sent it back in June 2025… and it’s still with them today! No clear updates, no delivery date, just excuses.
I’m seeking advice and sharing my ongoing ordeal with myTVS regarding my [Ford Figo, TN49BB1147] affected by the December 2023 Chennai floods.
Timeline of events:
Dec 2023: Submitted car to myTVS [Perungudi, Chennai] for flood damage repairs.
May 2025: Received the car back after an unacceptable 17-month delay.
June 2025: Returned the car again for unresolved issues (mechanical/electrical).
Till date (Aug 2025): Vehicle still not returned, no proper repair status, no confirmed delivery date despite repeated calls, emails, and personal visits.
All I get are vague assurances and excuses. I’m now extremely concerned about:
1. Whether all issues will be fully rectified.
2. The originality and quality of parts.
3. The legality of them holding my vehicle for this long without clear communication.
Has anyone here faced a similar situation with flood-affected vehicles or myTVS? Any recommendations on escalation channels, legal steps, or ways to pressure them to act faster would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your guidance.
