MyTVS — Pathetic servicing and spoilt my Car AC

MYTVS PEOPLE WERE BEHIND ME FOR OVER 4 MONTHS TO GIVE MY CAR FOR SERVICING AND THEY WILL ENSURE A GOOD JOB IS DONE. I THOUGHT THAT TVS IS A REPUTED COMPANY AND WENT BY THE NAME OF THE COMPANY.

I had given my Car for servicing at their (located on 1281, College stop, Magadi main road, Next to Shell, Kempegowdanagar, Byadarahalli, Bengaluru, Karnataka - 560091)Magadi Road, Bengaluru service station on 8.3.24. I was not happy with the servicing and response of the service center as also Mr. Jeevan who booked this service. The following points I wish to bring to My TVS notice.

1. The engine compartment, interiors etc was not cleaned properly, as you see in some of the attached videos.

2. It was noticed that the coolant top up was not done. It was well below the maximum level as seen in the video.

3. The AC was not checked and serviced at all, but some vague problem was stated. Later the technician said the AC technician was on leave and hence it was not checked. But the service advisor was only trying to aggravate the problem by giving false feedback

3. The response of the service center advisor Mr. Sandeep was very poor. In fact no one informed me that the car will be inspected at 9.30 am. I reached there at 8.30 am and waited till 9.45 am.

4. Post this I informed that I need the car early. I was told that it would be sent by 4.00pm, but will try earlier.

5. The service advisor was not at all responsive and finally he gave me a report at 2.30pm.

6. Everytie he was giving some vague problem in the car mainly related to wiring this/that etc.

7. Finally, said that the car will be sent with the driver by 4.00 pm. Sensing that it may not happen, I again reached the service center at 4.30pm. The car was still in the bay. It had another 30-45 mins of work and they did the washing, polishing etc.

Finally, I could take the car at 6.30 pm after the driver arrived.

It is very difficult to cite all that I went through during the period the car was with you.

Then, the following points promised by MyTVS were not attended at all

1. Complete digital diagnostics - NOT DONE
2. 62 point digital health check up - NOT DONE
3. Castrol change – DONE
4. Brake Oil and Coolant top up - NOT satisfactory
5. Oil Filter replacement - Dont know
6. Engine Scanning - NOT DONE
7. Check and clean cabin filter - DONT KNOW
8. Dashboard Polish and interior vacuuming - NOT DONE
9. Complete General Check up - NOT DONE
10. Exterior Foam wash and Tyre polish & More - NOT DONE
11. Certified Parts for replacement - No replacement was done. But they did not have the parts in stock.
12. 100% Satisfaction on your service - NOT satisfied
13. Expert myTVS technicians - Advisor was not good
14. Affordable price - NO. Because it appeared that only Oil change was done promptly. I feel I had to pay this much for Oil change only.

Then again I went on 13.3.24 to highlight thee above and some of which like greasing etc was attended. They did not have the vacuum cleaner to suck dust from the car interiors and floor. Such pathetic was the working.

The service partner Service advisor (located on 1281, College stop, Magadi main road, Next to Shell, Kempegowdanagar, Byadarahalli, Bengaluru, Karnataka - 560091) does not call (if he receives our call, we are lucky) under any circumstances. We have to call him or visit there. This is very bad customer relationship.

I have mailed several times attaching the invoices to customer.[protected]@mytvs.in attaching the invoices, photos and videos. No body bothers to respond. invoice no. CLS-FAUF24-01242 dt. 8/3/24 and CLS-FAUF24-01253DT. 13.3.24

The AC recharge was not satisfactory and must say it was again pathetic.

1. The AC charging was done on March 13, 2024. I was charged an amount of Rs.1159/- after discount. As you see the AC was working fine and no comments/ advice were recorded in the invoice. (Invoice attached)

2. There used to be hissing noise right from the next day after the gas top-up was done. Suddenly in about 10-12 days the AC cooling had almost stopped.

3. When I spoke to your AC technician, he asked me to change the AC filter. I had a doubt because if the AC filter needed a change then the same would have come as comments in the original service invoice dated 8/3/24, because that is when the cabin AC filter is cleaned by your mechanic. The remarks were not there. (I got it checked somewhere else later and there was no problem with cabin AC filter)

4. When I could not comprehend and decided to have a personal check up once again and took the vehicle to your Service partner, they then inspected the vehicle thoroughly and informed that the COMPRESSOR SAFETY RELEASE VALVE HAS TO BE REPLACED" and both oil and gas has leaked from the valve.

The above means that your service partner has not checked the AC system thoroughly for leakage both at the time of initial service on 8/3/24 and at the time of gas top up on 13/3/24. In my opinion they should have taken the car on the service deck and checked the entire piping too at time of AC gas top up.

5. I am still searching for the Compressor air release valve from the entire market and having difficulty. Your service partner is least boother to help with any spares that need replacement. They just tell us to get it and we will replace it. How is this possible for a service center that they don't help us for the spares?

6. Another thing I wish to bring to your notice is that, the Compressor already had the refrigerant gas of 42 gms which was removed at the time of top up and a top up of 350 gms only was done. The invoice mentions the gas top up as 400 gm. There are anomalies in charges also. Normally, 500 gms of refrigerant is filled, where as they are cheating by filling less.

SINCE AS PER POINT 4 & 6 ABOVE, , THE SERVICE ASPECT HAS NOT BEEN FULFILLED, RESULTING IN THE REFRIGERANT AND COMPRESSOR OIL LEAKAGE, CAUSING ME A LOSS OF RS. 1159/- (EXCLUDING COMPRESSOR OIL WHICH I HAVE NOT ADDED), I ASKED FOR A REFUND OF THE ENTIRE AMOUNT OF RS.1159/-. THEYY HAVE NOT BOTHERED TO RESPOND AFTER 10 DAYS.

ALL I WOULD SAY IS THE SERVICE IS PATHTIC. ONCE YOU FALL INTO THE PIT, THEY DONT EVEN CARE FOR YOU. SO AVOID MYTVS.
