[Resolved]  Narayana Multi Speciality Hospital — profound negligence the staff have done

Respected sir / madam,

I am priyanka das, relative of a patient (Lila das id : [protected]), who has been operated in narayana multispeciality hospital, howrah chunabati, a few months ago (Breast cancer). I am compelled to mail and complain about my aunt's report which i haven't got after 5 months and the service and the profound negligence the staff have done. Let me explain. On the date of 11.10.2017, my aunt (Patient) has been operated by doctor partha pratim sen. He is very good and caring. We are very happy with his treatment.

Now we have been asked to do regular check on my aunts health. So we visit the doctor in regular intervals.in one such visit he prescribed us to do a hormonal test of my aunt and we already paid for the test on 22.02.2018. And it was 5 months ago in february.in the meantime i went to narayana on march 2018 to collect the report but it was not ready on that time after that i called to them for the report but no, no report was ready.

Yesterday we visited narayana to see the doctor for regular check up and to collect the report and consult the doctor. We visited the old narayana... Date... Today. Very unfortunately, i was shocked by the incompetency of the staff and the whole system. They could not find the report at all. Moreover, their behavior was extremely rude. They shouted at us, when i was trying to get update on the report after waiting for a long time there. They said ' you have to wait another hour, if you are not ok with that, you can leave and i will never give you the report. And about this incident, i told to parth pratim sen. He said i have to go to another narayana and meet to pathologist mr. Rajorshi and mr. Devmallo, we also went to the new narayana for the report and received the same treatment. When i went there mr. Rajorshi is on his holiday and one of your member trying to find my report but he also failed and there i waited for another hour, after that he said, "we will call you" because they failed to find my report.

I am in great doubt that were they really trying to find the report or just passing time or really the test was done or not. It seemed like a long time (5 months) to do a test or it was only to take the money?! If the test is completed where is the report?

My aunt was absolutely devastated. As you can understand, what is going through her mind after a big operation. She started crying. I am speechless. We had to see the doctor without the report. When i explained everything to our doctor he was very upset and disappointed with such service. He said he could not prescribe any medicine without the report, who will be responsible for this and. Now if there was any medicine the doctor would have prescribed, depending on the report. And without that medicine if my aunt faces any harm or disease who will take the responsibility? That's why i found it compulsory to inform you and form a written complain. Please, take suitable and strict actions as soon as possible. I am very much worried about my aunt and her health. I would like to inform that my aunts health is degrading. She is suffering with high blood pressure because of the tension. So please, my request to you to take the necessary steps asap. Thank you.
